I didn’t mean to insult you, sorry if it sounded like that. It’s just that such prices have actually been paid (as you said) on Yahoo Japan, which is an even smaller market than ebay on top of that. Poeple really pay nearly $1000 for a flyer, THAT is what makes me laugh. Well, if I had the money to collect EVERYthing Virtual Boy, I’d probably buy it, I admit 😉
– Too expensive at launch
– PSX and Saturn just hit the market at about the same time
– Very few and monochrome games
– It was not really portable like it was marketed as
– People were afraid of damaging their eyes
Very nice, something new for the campaigns section 😀 If you remember any details of the mall tour, (although you asrrived too late), please let us know.
I wanted to do some upgrades to the forum anyway, so I will come back to your suggestions, lameboy. The translate thing sounds useful and should not be too hard to include.
Sir William: You CAN edit your posts. There’s a link in the bottom right corner of your post(s).
The mags arrived… doesn’t say anything about the box or cart being fake, but they definitely are. It also says that the game is completed, plus other things contrary to what DogP said ~_? Rating is 7/10.
The “missing Zelda” game is one of the CD-I titles, btw.
The 4 rare ones (Virtual Lab, Space Invaders, SD Gundam and Virtual Bowling) are dumped but not publically available.
Virtual Pro Yakyuu ’95 is just the japanese version of Virtual League Baseball.
There are no roms of unreleased games on the net. And that contest winner… I think you are talking about a contest where someone could PLAYTEST Dragon Hopper and Bound High, but that guy was contacted by V-B.net and he said he actually played a SNES game o_O
Sorry to disappoint you 😉
You won’t be able to, since no commercial games seem to have a link feature, a link cable is only useful with homebrewn games. Games that support it are Tic Tac Toe and 3D BattleSnake by DogP.
As soon as I get my cable working, I will add building instructions to the site, though.
I am going to update the Highscore list again soon, and change some things, like now you can only have one score for each table in Galactic Pinball, new games are added etc. A lot is open again, you guys’ scores are welcome!
Now that you mention putting homebrewn games on cartridges, there might be a release of Blox on cartridges in very limited numbers. This all depends on how cheap the carts can be produced and if I can ever put sound in the game. Well… I would love to produce some carts, let’s hope this will become reality someday.
