Was hoping that someone here won this one? I have the Mosaic VB (Krisse’s old unit!) and Mosaic AC tap, but would still quite like to pick up the counter display plate one day. I didn’t bid, but I thought this would have ended higher to be honest:

I always thought Cave Story would be a great fit for the system. Game is open source as well and would be a neat port.

…and has a 3D version (that didn’t turn out great) so I would Looooove a 3D pixel-art Cave Story, same formula worked so well for WarioLand, which I think is the main system seller.

For $200?! It’d be cheaper to pay someone to hold it for you 😉

I wondered if this might yield something:

They’re calling it the biggest leak Nintendo has faced.

Looks to be mainly GCN era though, VB might just be too old by this point.

Awesome – they scanned it as well for people I believe, I can’t be certain I find Reddit really awkward to navigate to be honest.

Liking the progress!!

Tempted to buy this – I’m sure others have seen it pop up in their various searches…

I’ve seen new carded ones for sale with a “virtual kid” name instead but that’s not the same 🙂

I am looking for some help in fixing a non-functioning unit, located in London.

Krisse this is for your old unit that you sold me a long time ago. I’d like to get it working but don’t know where to start! I tried to buy a loose unit from eBay and just use that but they’re all advertised as non-working and I’d rather give some spend and support to a community guru that better understands these fine machines 🙂

TheForce81 I will send you a request in the hope you can help me out – thanks! 🙂

No I missed that, and sadly the sale too – cheers Lester 🙂

Surely for a small amount of time is OK?

Always nice to move to a new place – hope you can also make use of the logo I found here (I didn’t make this)

I just assumed they were mockups made as an homage to the entry.

Fire-WSP, do tell! 🙂

I never noticed that… But it still works 🙂

Yes it’s available as a shirt on Society 6 I believe.

I would also check out some of the V posters on this site like the Virtual Fall poster – which I think was incredible! It’s hi-res on the site and pretty much print ready as well…

You can find it here:

I know the artist that made that image it’s Adam Rufino and he actually sells it as a poster.

Here’s his artwork page on Behance:

You can buy it as a print, or t-shirt from society 6:

He does others too if you fancied a series. Hope it helps!

Also sent a PM – the hype is building!

Where was it advertised? I missed the whole topic somewhow.

I found these links related to the account – maybe they can help track down the owner, who will surely still have the video file?

I can’t read Japanese so excuse if this is a fruitless endeavour.

I definitely want to be able to support where I can and very excited to learn more. I like the Patreon approach myself, which I suppose is related to the top story on PVB. PM incoming, count me in!

Please do! I know of Another World which is an excellent port – and there are more and more good translations and improvement hacks coming through. But I don’t have exposure to many other good actual homebrew games / demos / projects so would love to see some!

Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Just to clarify on my first post, I’ll happily take any GBC & GBA recommendations too.

Do you have a GBA flash kit? I can link you to some amazing homebrew projects.
