I was also looking for a barcode and couldn’t see squat – I think it’s very misleading – where does the barcode appear on a US box? I don’t have any, but it’s not clear it’s a fake – the ‘Display Only’ moniker doesn’t help either.
I would’ve liked to see something like a Terminator FPS – red and black works perfectly through the eyes of a T800 🙂
In addition – A Super Metroid type game, a Rockman / Megaman X game, a Mario Kart, Starfox, Zelda and essentially ANYTHING made by Sunsoft…
The Virtual Boy is a 2D powerhouse and it shows with the likes of Hyper Fighting and Bound High – there are so many options! 🙂
I don’t think the number in the bottom corner is the same – either that or the stickers were used inconsistently:

– Sorry, scratch that – it appears they are all the same (930910?)

wouldnt the best way to show footage be through an emulator, or RetroArch running on a Wii via homebrew launcher etc? Obviously it wouldn’t be in 3D, but for the purposes of a video review, neither will people be watching YouTube in 3D either 😉
I don’t have a problem with advertising at all – if it helps run the site, I’m very grateful for it. Ads can also be contextual – eBay, amazon etc. are not that intrusive in my opinion.
Try asking Adam – he’s a very nice guy and quite approachable.
Krisse I’d recommend this came from you as webmaster here – to save him an influx.
He’s previously given the files to people before I believe and they ended up selling them, which is a shame but if you explain what you wanted to do he’d hopefully consider supplying an adjusted version?
They are very nice, I have a real fondness for them – I just there were more available – hopefully Nintendo see this and release a Super Famicom version of the new 3DS (I think this is coming later this year).
Your mods look on just as good a quality as Wiggy’s though, hats off on that N64 mod!! do you take commissions?
Ohh yeah I forgot I have that one too. I think I bought two copies actually, as I wanted to keep one out to play.
They are very simple machines, but I remember having them as a child and wanted a few key pieces for my collection when I started earning money. I particularly like the Oil Panic and Greenhouse versions.
I love Game & Watch! But they got too expensive for me – I managed to pick up Zelda and Donkey Kong brand New back in the day, plus Octopus last year which cost me a lot more – I said to myself I’d leave it there.

I do have Mario Bros, another Zelda used to play and a Donkey Kong Jr someone gave to me though.
I love customs consoles!
That N64 looks incredible, as good as Zoki’s work even!
Are you familiar with Rose Colored Gaming? I am a huge fan:

Quick note to say I made a JP version, you can grab it here if applicable: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=5987&post_id=31498#forumpost31498
So I quickly made a JP version of the sticker – uploading here in case it’s useful, or if people wanted a change.
Same pixel size as the previous sticker – I don’t have a travel case yet so can’t size it exactly, but it’s an easy thing to do.

Nice t-shirt, that’s a really cool surprise – Happy Birthday too!
These are reall cool designs, I actually knwo the designer and am a big fan – I love that he took the time to vector draw a complete Virtual Boy! Plus all the other systems look great I think.
Thanks for posting that quick link VB-Fan 🙂
Quick thing to note – Nintendo fully owns the Starfox IP and would need to protect that as a name most likely. In often cases, it’s the old ‘if you ignore an approach on your trademark it becomes void’ – hence why companies have to chase these things in order to retain them. Some care more than others of course, and some are more aggressively chased than others. Nintendo doesn’t seem to mind as they thrive on the retro appeal of their properties and need to keep that healthy.
In terms of Nintendo games being made on the VB, I still relish the idea of a Metroid game more than a Starfox, but I love all the old Nintendo franchises almost as much as each other to be honest – any new homebrew is welcome in my book.
It all makes the VB THE system to enjoy when it comes to homebrew… NES and Atari homebrew doesn’t even come close to some of the things that have already been made on the VB – can’t wait to see what 2015 brings 🙂
As a heads up, Kotaku covered the game today – prepare for an influx of questions on YouTube channels and on here to some extent…

Hey Krisse could you please e-mail a high-res version? 😀
I’d love to see another 2D Action Platformer like this.
I didn’t make it, was a Gameboy style mockup I saw on PixelJoint once and recoloured for VB at the time.

Thanks for the added info, that’s a helpful share thank you 🙂
While I think of it – there’s an unfinished VB mock-up on this guy’s unpublished WIPs – saw it on Pixel Joint:

Apologies for double post, couldn’t go back to edit the previous.
