Aside from homebrews, repros of imports, and unreleased games, I’m not even sure if there are counterfeits of Jack Bros going around.

There definitely are for the Japanese titles but that’s a little different for identifying..

Do you have a pic of the game that seller is offering?

I’ve never heard of a Virtual Boy version.. could you possibly provide the image from the merchandising catalog?

I know this is a bit of an older post, but thank you for that DS case art. I went ahead and carved up this one spare red DS case I had a bit ago and got some thin foam board and ghetto made a case for my flash boy plus with it. The cutting job isn’t pretty on any of it, but it printed out alright enough and what’s important is the thing is protected.

Thanks.

Glad to have helped. It was a bit of a pain in the ass trying to find them all originally so I’m happy to make sure others avoid that.

Pretty certain it’s just the lighting. I highly doubt anyone would go through the trouble of a repro Red Alarm of all things.

You can also check the interior of the box and see if it’s the same gray cardboard material as the other boxs and not something else.

Myself and a couple of other people that I know of used this case

I’ll try to grab some pics of mine. The foam is easy to customize.

AFAIK the whole point is to supply loose copies (i.e. do away with the whole EBay CIB BS).

Well if that’s the only option, I’m still open for a copy or 2 depending on the price

I personally think Bound High! is the best game.

add Mario Clash and my list of suggestions looks identical to Dreammary’s

The PSVR one actually has a grid version that looks very similar to those pictures. Only difference is it’s green instead of red.

Have you been able to play the PSVR version? It’s really fun.

Absolutely want one if it’s CIB

I know you are still pretty early in development, but any pics you could share?

How about space invaders.. i’d like to see a “tusk” release of that too please! 😀

I was just thinking about this the other day too. Would be awesome to get a repro of it.

Not to worry, plenty of members are perfectly content with just the cart even.

Ah dang. Was thinking it was a complete copy. Trying to avoid buying anymore games in pieces.

I have a 3d Tetris about to go on eBay.
I bought it new with the console.
Booklet and game are in excellent condition.

I’ll upload pics if you want.

I am also interested in this 3D Tetris if UHATEIT isn’t.

You honestly might want to take a look at all sold listings on eBay… as well as pricecharting.com

I am very interested in how much you are selling it for however.

If I’m wrong, my apologies but there is an Mexico Club Nintendo magazine from July 95 on eBay that doesn’t seem to be scanned to the site.

I’ve got scans of dozens and dozens of magazines, including this one, which I never got around to add to the site. (@___@;)

Sounds like you’ve got your project for 2019 then =P

Saw this earlier. Very intrigued. Idk if I’m the minority here but I’m really hoping it’s not some mobile phone adapter similar to their SmartBoy device.

Theses magazines are wonderful ! I must get them !

So, if we could have bought VB games in france, there must have been french translations of the instructions ?

I’ve heard about some french instructions in switzerland, in the Interdiscount Shop. However I’ve never seen them, does someone here knows more about french instructions ?

(because I’m french, I’ll love to get these intructions 🙂 )

I’m not sure about the games but I know in certain parts of Canada it was required to include french instructions, which is how they came to be.

I’m not sure if there is any scans online but if there is, they are somewhere on this site.
