These look fantastic! I’ve always been interested in making my own high quality boxes but wouldnt know where to start! Do you have printer recommendations, what type of paper is needed, etc?

is there a link to this? I’m not seeing it under the My Nintendo rewards.

I hope we don’t have to wait this long but it would be wild if these dropped on August 26th, 30 years to the day of their originally scheduled release.

I’m really curious as to why the name is changing to “D-Hopper”.
Perhaps someone else has ahold of the “Dragon Hopper” name now?

Do you have a recommendation for the VGA to HDMI converter specifically?
What does the converter output with the VB’s 800×600 image?

They’ve had this exact message up along with the page for the game for over 18 months now. Don’t get your hopes up. It’s likely complete BS.

WOW!! mike-takagi, we are incredibly grateful to you sharing that piece. Thank you soo much! Without question made my day.

The world keeps on giving.. This is awesome. Wish someone would make something similar to sell, even if in extremely limited numbers.

Greatly appreciate you doing this

I can extract them for you I guess. Depends if you want them recorded from hardware or from an emulator.

I really appreciate that. Whatever is easier for you honestly which I assume might be emulator? As long as it doesn’t sound like garbage I’m good haha

Badass, thanks as always!

Hey Levine91 do you happen to have an English translated version of the Innsmouth mansion cover? All I could find is the Japanese cover on your link and nowhere else online for one!

Unfortunately I don’t have it. I’m not sure it was ever made (and shared). If anyone has the ability to make this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Finally!! Thanks mysterious OP

Oh wow, had no idea that the GB ones could be modified to fit. Thanks for the tip!!

I did spend some time looking into one that may be simpler. Turns out the electronics would be nearly the same so not much different in effort.

I may have a small window in January to come back to the MultiBoy to push it to the next step.

Good luck, can’t wait to hear an update!

While I am not the developer and have no say in his final decision, I would also like to add that having to flip hardware switches or re-connect the cart to the computer to select new games, seems like a step backwards. It sounds much less efficient and time consuming than having to re-flash the FB/FB+.

I feel 100% the same way.
Would rather wait for the MultiBoy 32 personally.

RetroDan is working on a plug & play solution? Is there anymore information about this? Would we still need to buy the Furrtek VirtualTap?

EDIT: nvm I was thinking this was in regards to the VirtualTap. Really hoping for an easy solution for video out.

found this by searching for “Faceball” on the search engine above (while having “Forum” checked). Feel free to dig through the topics it brings up.

Also under “images” on the “games” section, it does have a couple of zip files that has a flyer for Faceball on the VB

I mean… I’d buy either one of those (the GB one or the Mega Man one) if I knew the sound was decent and the gameplay is fine)

EDIT – Especially if the sound on Pokemon wasn’t glitchy. I’d fork over cash for a fancy collection with RBY + GS

It would play exactly as it would if you made the GB emulator rom for yourself. This guys cart isn’t doing anything special.

Right I know that, but Pokemon has some bad audio issues on the GB emulator and that if someone made these, I’d fork over the cash. (just to have the nice box, manual, cart, etc)

In this thread, go to page 3 then the third post from the top.

Tip for anyone using Windows 10 that the pictures don’t show, be sure to put “.\” before the file name otherwise PowerShell won’t accept it

Example – ” .\rominjector.exe .\gameboy.vb .\PokemonGold.gb “
