Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s a real smack in the face to BigMak:-( who was so generous to give us the game and the smiley’s. If we really wanted to I guess we could translate the descriptions language to find out where this guy was from and we might limit the culprit as to who it was. Also this guy was probably a purchaser of Faceball Remastered to narrow it down. I know I know he has the right to do this after all it’s his game but it just doesn’t settle well w me. Maybe it’s because he got his for free. It’s guys like this that make MineStorm decide on not making any more hard copy games that are at one time commercial. they just ruin it for the rest of us.
I’m sorry you feel that way Jason. With the link cable on the way and great homebrews like Guy’s FZERO demo and M.K.’s Hyper fighting I think we may be on the verge of a new age of Homebrew for our Red Friend.
Dude you seriously have talent when it comes to this. I think that you can easily find the satire in any situation. The roses were great, and as far as Red alarm goes you easily beat the real japanese commercial which aired in 95 which I think is alittle stupid anyway.:-)>B

Any ideas? Is such a unreachable place that I don’t know what to do.
Could that be cleaned with anything? I don’t even think it can be cut off… Any Idea is more than welcomeI’m not telling you to do this. Nor will I be responsible if it doesn’t work for you I’m just saying that these Ideas worked for these guys and they could scratch that may work for you

“I get the point guys. I will try to keep going.”
IS THE PROJECT STILL ON! DID BLITTER , LESTER , VB FAN AND MYSELF CONVINCE HIM?(somehow my comment got erased)
We all should go to his site and show our support if he is in deed going to continue his awesome project.

I use Hyperspin on my arcade machine as well, but I only have arcade games on it. Opted to not have any home console stuff because I’d rather just play those on the real systems.
True, but if you possess a 3d monitor the emulated 3d is fun. It’s kinda like old school for 3ds.

I wonder how they got the footage?

They probably got them all from here:

And I’d be willing to bet all the capture was done via emulation.
Well thanks “The Red one”. That explains it.
Blitter Ive gone to the site and can’t seem to find your comment could you give us a link. I also can’t find my comment either that I posted yesterday.
Thats the best video I’ve seen considering that it has sound. I just wish the images were clearer and bigger. I wonder how they got the footage?
Vaugnabe13’s argument was there will be no demand for it once the rift hits the shelves so I say everyone who wants VBSD to be a reality should go to his site and say how much they want one.

That’ll show him that his product made a difference. If that’s the case then he may just continue it if he sees that a great number of people still want it. You know it’s kinda like signing a petition. It certainly can’t hurt.>B
Thanks Lester, feel free to use my post. Id like to help if I can. >B
Ive dabbled a time or two in stereo scopic 3d graphics Ive found there are 2 main ways to draw stereo scopic 3d graphics. The first is the most obvious just draw with a lot of layers and logically move the layers in the right image so that they are Parallaxed. The second is the way I prefer so I’m going to share it w you. I first draw the 2d image on the left side then on the left I copy the image and put it on the right side. Now I change element by element what I want to be in 3d and I use a bright loud color like a lime green. Now I can make all of my changes in my graphic as long as I’m only dealing w one color. and when the changes are done since I’m working in Graphics Gale I simply use the color replacer and smear in the correct color with a large brush. When it’s done i have a nice stereo scopic image w few layers.
Phenomenal effort Guy! It’s a shame that the vb can’t do a game like this. So not even a black void on either side of the track could fix a game like this Ive noticed in VB games there’s usually alot of black in them that wouldn’t help out the VIP? also I wonder if you stuck the mini-map in the black void in the middle of the track. since the affine would’nt hit it maybe you could pull it off. Oh and also when the track hits the affine you could simply turn it off. Just an idea from a non programmer I just don’t want to see all of that wonderful work go to waste.

I like the coin slot concept! cool:)
Seriously Sweet>B! I like how you took the parts you had and made a better mousetrap Kudos!
I really like your Mario Tennis commercial. it’s funny and informative. I think this could of been storyboarded and made into a real commercial that would of been a broadcast.
It’s guys like this that make it harder on the rest of us. Where would we be without MineStorm? I’m glad that one bad apple is’nt going to spoil the bunch!
blitter Your music sample is Phenomenal!=D does this mean a composer can use the program inclosed to make music that sounds like this? I know that you say that this is only a work in progress and it has flaws but I think it’s Phenomenal! Ive tried it out on Mednafen and real hardware and i love the results of both! Kudos=D!

If payment can wait till march I’ll want a link cable and 3 USB cables. That is if you will you be able to play multi-player games (greater than 2 player) using the usb link and a multi-usb hub for your computer?
Thanks for your answer DogP But i’m also wondering if it is possible to link up multi VB’s via link cable and USB hub without a computer. Is it possible to write a program and put it on a flash drive so that it automatically executes when plugged into the hub so you could bypass the computer all together?
Hey DogP I may be totally wrong in suggesting this but if the USB cable will allow you to do a rom dump of the game your playing. is it possible to change flash information(ie change the game your playing) w the FlashBoy while still inserted and not connecting the FlashBoy to the USB directly instead Having the only connection to the flashboy being the Link cable but still being able to change games? W/o removing the cart. If not why not?
