Got that unit from a good friend. You know who you are. Thanks.
The unit is American.
Looks Awesome DogP and Hedgetrimmer you both have done a phenomenal job. If payment can wait till march I’ll want a link cable and 3 USB cables. That is if you will you be able to play multi-player games (greater than 2 player) using the usb link and a multi-usb hub for your computer? Otherwise I’ll just want a link cable and a USB link cable.

I’m glad you like the case. Yes, it was printed on my MakerBot Replicator 2.
Before, I was hacking original cases. Printing saves me a lot of work because I can drop the PCB straight in.
Yeah I look forward to the day when we can do it all and not have to cannibalize any parts from carts. Imagine carts made entirely from PVB.(MineStorm that is, can do the connectors and case)
Much better now. Thanks KR155E!:)

Amazing work! I get lost in this game forgetting it’s even homebrew. In my mind, I’m in an arcade..only in red and awesome =P
Let’s not forget it’s in 3d! Hey that’s better than ANY other port of the game! >B

These are really cool. I only wish that the artists were completely familiar w the limitations of the VB before they created their entry. So we could have more entries based on what the VB could actually do rather than just games that look incredible.:(
Ok Ive done some further study and I recant my last statement. All but Starfox VB. TMK the Vb can’t do textures like what is shown here. But I may be wrong.

I’m sorry:( I was just trying to help, not trying to overstep my boundries. Sorry again I thought I may of had TheForce81’s name wrong I did a search to find out about it and nothing came up. So Force81 I also apologize for misquoting your name and also for mentioning you as a repairer of VB’sI guess I should of not said his and your name. And overstepped my boundries sorry.

I read whole thread. It’s very interesting. I think I don’t be able to solder and repair my Virtual Boy. Peraphs there is, in this forum, anyone who repairs Virtual Boy screens? I wish find a kind user to ship my Virtual Boy screens and so he repairs them for me (for money, obviously).
In the states PM RunnerPack
Overseas PM TheForce13

For some reason..I think a 6 button controller would rock right about now :).
HADOOKEN!!;)
Thanks for the credit KR155E;) But you more or less got the springboard from me. You owe the work to Hedge!
It’s hard to imagine being able to see full 3d sprites and backgrounds ACM would of looked great on the VB You think Dragon Hopper would of been amazing…..Wow check out what this would of been like.
Just wondering is this only for Castlevania? Does this antilogarithm convert an image into 3 shades of red and black?
Can it be applied to other games? If so on both questions (Technically I only asked 2 questions 1,3 were kind of the same) Maybe this could be used as a springboard to refine graphics of other games to make them on the Virtual Boy? I know the artist would still have to do a ton of work, but at least they would have a place to start.

I think you should continue, but you should also learn proper programming techniques, such as how to split up code into functions and how to use arrays. If you would have, the game would be much more finished by now.
Also not to nitpick, but it would be a good idea to get a grasp on Char sets (Tilesets), and how to use them. The game would have much larger areas if you did. Just my advice coming from an artist not a programmer.
So “I really can’t see it,” or “Gotta focus can’t move the console.” and UH Starfox was made to be moved and rotated.HELLO MCFLY HELLO! Really did’nt work that well. No problem Ive got my VIRTUAL BOY! a system that was ment to be in 3D! >B
I can see it now, suddenly Flashboy sales sky-rocket. Wonder why….Hmmm
Would you guys consider getting w DogP and seeing if you could make this a multi-player link cable game?
Hadooken….Hadooken..This would be an incredible game except I’m not playing on a Virtual Boy. When I play this I am suddenly transported to a red and black 3d arcade. When I turn the game off I reallize I’m back in my world and the VB is up on my face. What’s that all about? J/K But man you’d swear that your not playing on a vb this must be what the big “N” was talking about when it talked about great games like in issue 67 They surely were talking about this team.
Common M.K.and MR.Anon PLEASE MAKE A STARFOX YOU GUYS CAN DO EVERYTHING ELSE WHY NOT A FULL POLY STARFOX!
Just to let you know RunnerPack has fixed six of my displays. All a top notch job. Will play flawlessly forever.

It’s really hard to choose because there are so many greats, but I’m going to go with Lost Vikings II, followed closely by Lost Vikings. Puzzle-platforming at its finest!
I sort of disagree w RunnerPack although the game might of been terrific I did not give it much of a chance because I had surround sound and the game was in mono. That automatically was a turn off to me. But at the same time that says nothing about how great of a game it might of been.
I however really enjoyed “Rock and Roll Racing” it was the ultimate RC Pro Am style racer. And if you happened to get tired of the music you could play your own. I can remember a few holy days when my family would turn on religious music to it and play “Holy Roller Racing” It was a blast.
