Quick note all, Dudeway found a little bug earlier on today with this cart where it wont load RoboNaut or the platformer demo.
I did a bit more testing and it fails to flash any rom smaller than 256KB (2Mbit). This seems to be for all roms i’ve tested, anything 2Mbit or bigger works like a dream.
The workaround, and thanks to “Ace'” on discord for the tip:
Example rom is color.vb, do this:
open a cmd (command) window and cd to the folder then paste or type this
copy /b color.VB + color.VB + color.VB + color.VB color-256.VB
And use the color-256.vb rom instead, its now a nice padded rom. (padded with itself 4 times, but works!)
if it’s a name with spaces then something like this:
copy /b “Tronimal – Robonaut.vb” + “Tronimal – Robonaut.vb” + “Tronimal – Robonaut.vb” + “Tronimal – Robonaut.vb” “Tronimal – Robonaut-256.VB”
then problem solved. Great cart btw! Also i’m using MrCart v0.21 if that helps.
