I agree the new rules should be
1. must work on hardware
2. must be a 100% game, no demos

hehe ok 🙂

Dont mind my very negative youtube comments, but I really do think most youtube users dont try

They never make a intro for there channel, they do the same things so many others has done, they are to lazy to edit so the videos just look uninspired

I dont exept HD videos or green screen special effects but more quality

My youtube channel akumie for example might not be the best one but I have intros for my channel and I do try to make videos no one else have done before
Just feels that the people who actually come to my channel get to see things no other user has done before

Anyways, good luck and once again its cool to see such a young person who loves the vb and not only care about the PS3 😛

Yeah well if you really really want to make something then learn to make a vb game, finish the demos we have, make some nice box art for a game idea you have, make some nice youtube videos about the vb (Maybe review all the homebrew) or I dont know record some gameplay of some games for this site (even if it`s on homebrew so long its in red/black) because some games like tron doesnt have a gameplay video in the multimedia section

I made a compilation of many vb games some month ago
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEMIvLVmhXQ
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0kYz47XL6g

I also uploaded a video about the vb from pawn stars
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG5ie1IqpVI

So yeah, we can all contribute to this site in our own way even if we dont donate money

sorry but why do we need a wiki if all the info is on this site?

maybe one day someone should start a noob thread for us who want to make vb games but instead of some text based demos we go extra slow and learn 1 thing/day

I mean really easy things so even a 5 year old could understand how to make a game for the vb even if he could never master source code

No problem, I might complain alot and cant make games but atleast no one can say I didnt contribute to this site XD

The best moment by far is when Taylor (the boy who is selling the VB) says who wants to play hours on the machine, Chumlee is like “I do” haha and then awkward silence

Could not find the edit button so anyways not to be rude but the person who uploaded it on megauploads did not add the last part when the old man is playing the vb so after I found the video with the extra ending I decided to upload the whole thing to youtube
Enjoy 🙂

Blox 2 is the best homebrew vb game ever made but didnt know it even had cheats

I really hope one day someones makes another good vb homebrew game thats not a demo or made within a week

I know some of the coding competition games are being finished but will they ever be better then blox 2 in terms of all the features (game play, cheats, intro, language selection, menu system…)?
No I dont know about that

Anyways for once I will rate this 8/10
It didnt have a cinematic intro and didnt take full use of the VB 3d capabilities but for what it is its very good, good job 🙂

hehe nice game, level 15 was hard thought but its an ok game

I would prefer things like rolling barrels, ladders… more things but wont vomplain to much its an ok game for being homebrew

I wonder if more then 5% of people who joined this site knows how to use source code^^

Sorry I tried once, so hard

If it was easy you would be flooded by vb games

How does the king find anything in his messy castle where the doors are placed in the most weird place? 😛

Nice intro even if I prefer more of a cinematic intro like bound high its still a good enought intro for being your first one 🙂

Maybe its an error but I play the game like 1-2 days ago and it was alright
I try it now on rdagon emulator and the intro is there but level one telle me its room 14
I enter door and I go to room 15 thats the same exact room
I enter door again and still same room but door 16

Anywqys keep working on it, with music, menu system… it could be as good as blox and then who knows, you might make more vb games 😛

I was thinking more like 5 life in total and once you lose you must start all over from the begining of the game, gives more challenge

Other things might be to hard for you
-Music, some nice ingame music
-A menu system
A) options
B) gameplay
C) demo (you get to see the machine play some quick 30 sec demo)
D) An option to choose 2+ chars
-A nice intro story (blox 2 had one after all)
-Add in the game: moving platforms, pipes (like in Mario), ladder…

Not to be mean (just my option after all) but I would prefer to have the game be 100 levels at most if it has all the other features like music, menu system… then to make it 1000 levels but with nothing extra but then blox 2 had over 300 levels and still had so many nice features

Anyways, keep working on the game..its not that bad at all for being your first homebrew game that might get 100% finished

Last time I checked $ did not mean euro or pounds -_-

The smaller person does make the game more fun and after you played about 5 levels it does get harder

The only thing I dont like is that there is no life system so you can play the same level over and over forever without ever really getting challenge to not get game over and have to start all over

“The package will consist of the cart and USB cable (no box) the new price of $100 (+shipping) reflects this.”
No box is one thing but no CD with the software either?

Yes, even I loved the review but I was wondering how can you see on the site when you upload another video

I see no search finctions or any link to your account page

jeje well 3D BattleSnake is a 2P game so there must have been some way to actually make the link cable before

Just saying that if you made like 10+ 2P mini games and then showed of some some gameplay demo then more people might want to buy your link cable

yes well simon is just 1 mini game
If the game had 20+ mini games then people might play it more

I dont know, 2P mini games, mini games with highscores (like many atari 2600 games), some extremly hard shmup mini games…

Could be fun once in a while, like for me when I play some old school sports video game

Also maybe its a good way to actually finish something for once since even if you get tired of making vb games a mini game/user takes x10 as little time to make then a real game

I dont know, just my idea
