Well, since he has the “Best Offer” option, he’s only as crazy as the highest offer that he rejects.
I’m highly confident that many people will be very happy about this. Don’t forget about Space Pinball, too. 😉
In this particular case, I actually like the blue color the best. It gives a nice impression of a moonlit night.
My bad. I guess the other Bound High box design had me confused.

Well, I would prefer buying the box with an inlay instead of buying an additional boxed game just for the inlay. It’s not like all of us have piles of old VB boxes lying arround.
I am very confident that you could find a complete copy of Virtual League Baseball on Ebay for probably a total of $10.00 or less, including shipping to your country. This would not only come with an official white cardboard cartridge holder but it would also have the official precautions booklet and clear plastic wrap for the cart to make your Bound High cart, box, and manual combo “complete.” You could then sell your extra Virtual League Baseball cart for a couple dollars on Ebay. This is definitely the route I’m taking, and I’m sure it would be much cheaper than getting a new, custom-made inlay.

Here is the updated box. Only thing changed is the misspelling on the back side! Thanks!
Hey Uncle Tusker,
I noticed that the top flap on your Bound High box, which you posted earlier on the forum, extends from the back of the box. I don’t have an official Virtual Boy box with me as I write this at my workplace, but I am almost 100% sure that official Virtual Boy boxes have the top flap extending from the front of the box. Was this change unintentional? If so, there should still be sufficient time before the printing to make the top flap extend from the front of the box.

He also said the big bag on bottom has instructions for the game. If you look close, you can see the word Nintendo in the second photo, so I’m not sure if these are first generation “demo” instructions on plain paper or what. Who knows? Maybe that could be another selling point?
Wow… that is very neat. If someone on here wins the auction, please let us know what these unique instructions are all about.
Red Alarm Not For Resale-Demo Only cartridge on Ebay:
The seller did a very poor job of labeling the auction, so I want to make sure that someone who wants it won’t miss out on this possibly very good opportunity.
Cool foam Faceball, Dor-Si! 🙂

I’m also really excited to get this going and get some of the boxes for some of the homebrews going.Just contact me with thoughts on what you all think would be best to do. Or post here. I check her periodically now. I have so many fond memories of the VB.
For a long time, I have wanted a special cartridge, box, and instruction booklet for Krisse’s 3 games, so BLOX, BLOX 2, and VUE Snake. I already got a special box and cartridge for VUE Snake for my latest birthday, but I know it’s not “official,” so I’d want official ones and a manual would be cool, too. I also know that BLOX 2 has problems with the save function on hardware, which needs to be fixed before it can be released as a cartridge.
Nevertheless, I propose these 3 games as the first homebrew games to be on the radar for manual and box releases. I know Krisse is busy and might not have time lately to design instruction booklets or boxes for these right now, but I throw my wishes out there anyway. 🙂
Very nice. This makes me giddy with excitement! 🙂

When you say other repros – what do you have in mind? I thought repros had stoppped now?
I think he meant other released cartridges of Virtual Boy games, instead of reproductions of commercially released games. Richard only said that no more reproductions of commercial games, whether officially released or not, will be made by him. All homebrew titles are open game, however, just as long as the creator of each game allows carts of the game to be made, and thus, also boxes and/or instruction booklets to go along with them.
Also, I know for a fact that Richard isn’t the only one on this site who knows how to make reproduction carts of Virtual Boy games. If another capable person decides to take on the task, reproduction carts could still be made.
That would be totally awesome! That would get me playing Pokemon, too! 🙂
Ahhh… that’s good. Thanks for the clarification.

I wanted to get everyone that wanted one’s approval before going through with these.
I have a question about this. Does this mean that if a lot of people post on this thread, saying they don’t like the box design, you will change the design? I don’t want to send you a prepayment for what I think I am going to get and then the design gets drastically changed later. The way I see it, if people like the design and want to pay $25.00 for a combo, then they order it. If they don’t like the design, then they don’t order it.
Please clarify.
Thanks.
If time travel never gets invented, hopefully a $30,000.00 to $50,000.00 offer for Dragon Hopper will one day secure the ROM’s release for the VB community.
Count me in. I’ll send you a PM right now.
I really like the progress made on the Virtual Boy game. I can already envision what the final version might look like, and it looks great.

Small update..should have another next week..with something a abit odd…but for nowThe Hori 3rd party japanese adapter:
The Hori adapter came out just about the same time as the vboy was released. It’s a 3rd party adapter for the Famicom, Super Famicom, Mega Drive, Game Gear and….the Virtual boy.
バーチャルボーイ is actually on the box (virtual boy) ..and under all the boxes is a statement that says you still need to buy the separate adapter tap for it to work :).
Wow… nothing Virtual Boy ever gets by bigmak. 😉
Just tried out the latest version on the Virtual Boy using the FlashBoy Plus. I like the progress that you’ve made with this game.
