Nice! Where did you get this stuff from?

And this is also a repro box, isn?t it? I once learned here that the japanese original boxes look on the bottom side the same as on the top side. Only the US-boxes have the ?cross folding? at the bottom. I hope I?m right here…

Sent you a pm.

Thank you for your feedback! Actually I bought a better solder iron and my father, who is a bit mor experienced with soldering, and I will see what we can do… If we di not feel good about it, we stop and will take a look for an electrician or so.

Thanks again everybody for your input!!

Thank you very much for your response! I tried already a de-soldering braid but however it dit not wirk to remove the solder. But I have to admit that the solder iron is pretty old and maybe this is the reason. Also thanks for your other remarks! Today I will visit a shop for electronics and see what they can do/ what kind of equipment I need.
Now I know definitely a bit more and I hope it will work out one day!

Thanks again and all the best!!

Hi and thanks for your response. Well, yes, but as you could see on the picture, there are still leftovers of previous soldering works. I already tried to “clean” it up but it was not working. Maybe somebody with a better equipment is able to do so… When I am soldering on the leftovers, I am afraid that the electricity moves over to another connection and that it destroys the Virtual Tap.

But maybe I am a bit too careful/ afraid?

Thank you my friend! But I guess it will be difficult to send it in the US. But thanks again and I might come back to you.

Thank you very much Dr Honda for your response. I really appreciate it because Actually I was not aware about all differences between repro and original. Thanks!! 😊

Nintendo Virtual Boy shirt allover print. Regarding seller there were only two seen in the market:

Aaah, you‘ve been the one. 🙂 I‘ve been watching this item as well 🙂 Unfortunately I cannot help you with your request.

Very nice work! But on the other hand: I see there a danger for collectors who look for the originals from a collecting prospective. How is it possible to see the difference to original carts? I mean, the label looks really like the original on the picture. Even the quality-logo exists. This could also lead to people trying to fool others when these appear on eBay… 🤔 Maybe I am a bit sensitive, but this was in my mind.

To prevent confusion: Please note that this is the JAPANESE version, as seen on the description.

I’ve been in Japan this April and my conclusion is that there is no chance to get a good price compared to the usual prices on eBay. I’ve been in Akihabara and I saw Space Invaders and Gundam in a good condition, but not a difference compared to the prices on eBay. I bought Jack Bros. (Jp.) in “Okay” condition to a comparable price and also Mario Clash, Mario Tennis and T&E Golf (all jp) in good condition for a “valuable” price, but rare games are not there for a “very good” price.
I’ve also been in Den-Den Town in Osaka and in Chiba, but in Chiba I saw nothing and in Osaka nothing really special.
But all in all it is still a great experience to visit Akihabara and see all the retro games. I saw also jp-demos of Mario Clash, Mario Tennis and Wario Land in a glass rack, but they were literally not for sale (I asked for it 🙂 ).

Thank you for your quick response 🙂

I have Teleroboxer. PM sent.

I am already vey excited for news to come about your project, RetroDan!

Yes, I agree fully with Fire-WSP. It would be awesome if Nintendo would bring a VB-Emulator for VR (maybe also the fact that the VB celebrates next year 25 years anniversar helps. NES mini and SNES mini were also released on anniversary years, right?).

And last but not least, Nintendo cannot ignore the fact that the VB is still kept alive by crazy VB-lovers around the globe- not many, but I’m sure Nintendo realizes that there must be a special passion for something (so also for Nintendo) if people expand the VB-universe since years and are ready to spend a lot of money for it.

So, lets support that and download every current and hopefull upcoming VB-content for VR 🙂

I’m afraid this is unfortunately not available anymore ☹️ Too bad- would be great to own one.

Hehe okay, I see 😊
