Debugger question:
I’m trying to watch address 0x06000000 (the cartridge sram area) by pressing shift+enter, but it won’t jump there. Lower addresses work fine though. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Also, any plan when the graphics viewer for VB will be in place?
It’s probably a loop somewhere that goes on for to long and overflows and make you write to places you didn’t intend to.
It’s a little hard to troubleshoot without the source code. If you’d like me to take a look but don’t want to post it in public yet, you could pm me with it and I’ll try to help.
Hm, I don’t use Reality Boy anymore… I think everyone should really switch to only use Mednafen, it really is the better emulator in almost every aspect. (the only exception is that it lacks a char/map viewer).
I didn’t mean to sound like a douche though, sorry about that. It’s a good start for a game
There is no general requirement to pad them up to 16 megabit. That size is only chosen because of the size of the flashboy and other home made flash carts are that big.
I don’t know the details of what you changed, but great job!
Not only did it fix the right side column of the site, but also everything else that was wrong in IE8! (squashed drop-down menus, the white-on-red dates to the left of news posts, and the wrong sized search box). It looks almost perfect in IE8 now, only thing missing are some rounded corners here and there. And in the IE9 pre-beta, it does indeed look 100% perfect now
They are constants in the sense that you can’t change their value after declaration, but you can’t use them for declaring other stuff because I guess the compiler can’t be sure that they have an assigned value yet.
I can confirm that they do
I got some of those new GP Powerbank Recyko+ (the new kind that supposedly holds their charge for up to a year if left unused), and one of them leaked in the charger while charging!
I just dried the battery off and tried to use it anyway, and it still works. I’ve charged it several times since then with no problems. It’s currently powering my wii remote
