as far as i see it, i’m done arguing this. we’ve made our cases known and now we’re getting to a point of who’s the more uber collector. lets stop.

That’s right cause the ONLY uber collector around here is me!!! 😀 I’m sorry I’m kidding all I got is the Blockbuster case. My collection is so small.

I always thought they were pretty cool but alas I’ve never seen past the second stage. I know that’s pretty bad but I’ve never been that good at most games. My brother on the other hand goes all Rainman on them. I’ve never taken the time to really practice that game. Since you brought it up I do have a question maybe you could answer why is the NES game Ghosts n’ Goblins and the SNES game Super Ghouls & Ghosts? Why do you think the name changed?

🙂 Ya know Shags even if you do or not or did get any of the prototypes for the VB… If they get posted well I’m sure gonna miss all the bickering between us all on this subject. Granted I will be happy to play the original Mario Demo no offense Jorgeche “I like yours too” 😛 but sigh I guess everything must come to an end. This concludes another mindless post by Deadly-D 😎

lol someone probly will.

I don’t think it will make much difference. I wear contacts but I’ve played it with my glasses on before and didn’t have any problems. Plus if your near sited as I am then just take them off 🙂

Wow,very rare find.

That’s a Mario Tennis cartridge and a Bomber Man box lol 🙂

Hey Jorgeche excellent beta/demo I can see it’s potential and look forward to seeing the full level! Oh and congrats on your 100th post 😛

Not really… It kind of sounds like you doubting your purchase. If your a collector then nows your chance to put up some of those games, put there dust covers on, put them out of harms way and just use you Flash boy. You could start experimenting with programing but it sure is tough. I don’t even know how to start 😉 and there are some home brew games coming out “I can’t wait!” So yeah wait till you get your Flash boy… You’ll Love it!

This Flash Boy commercial was brought to you by… “Body Wipe! … Skin care for your automobile. Because cars are people too.”

That’s an exert from an old game called Megarace by the way. 🙂

You know everybody on here is right no matter what. If somebody had that special cart and it was worth $xxxx.xx It definitely would decrease it value… Personally I know for fact I wouldn’t pay a lot for something that I already can play. The other side of the coin video games are an art form and should be shared with the world not horded and kept under glass while the person that owns it throws his hands into the air laughing hysterically “it’s mine!” but I kid, I kid.

So yeah my opinion is everyone is right. I would love to have the Mario demo… ain’t gonna happen. Zero Racers would so cool and would it possibly be better than Red Alarm… Ain’t gonna happen.

A coin has a thin side and that’s where I’m gonna sit holding my wittle toesies hoping someday if it’s out there I’ll get to play the Mario Demo until then I’ll concentrate on bugging people to finish there home brew games so I can play those 😛

Nice work DogP!

LOL 🙂

I hope it’s one hell of a long level! 😉 What about that Zelda pic that’s on the main page towards the bottom. I’m sure it’s more of a test screen but I would still play a port of Links awakening on the VB

EDIT: Sorry… Link to the past

I know nothing of programming I don’t even know what that post subject means lol

Figuring out in the first place and figuring out the limitations of Frames Per Second and also non see through objects.

Wow I kill me 😀

I’m glad this was posted and I agree whole heartedly with Virtualboyfreak 😎 These are both very promising games and I can’t wait to see the end result for them. I do get an impression from different posts that I see that there are others that are working on there own games. Posts like this…
“Calculating and/or Limiting FPS & Non-Transparent Objects”
I know nothing of programming I don’t even know what that post subject means lol So hey peeps let’s see some more screen shots! 😛

That’s great!!! I have to ask… Do you have a particular Mario game in mind that your designing from like Mario 1 – 3 or Mario world – Land or are you making this puppy your beast?

Thanks DogP I hope these work for me some day even though I hope I never need them someday lol Thanks again!

That is crazy! Never heard of such a thing. Had to look it up…

http://www.howstuffworks.com/question261.htm

I have an American NES & SNES and the adapter on one is 9Volts while the other is 10Volts So I guess the question would be can the VB run off of 9Volts? Sorry I’m not gonna try it I’m a firm believer in “If it’s not made for it then don’t use it with it!”

I couldn’t be happier to here about this guys!!! It seems that the sky’s the limit for FPS’… within a reasonable sense of course. As far as Wolf 3-D goes if anybody was willing to take on the challenge of doing this, I have access to all the graphic files to the Wolf games plus the sound fx and music files and maps. I have all the editors. Just let me know and I can get them to you even if I have to do it by mail 😛

I was reading the ray casting tutorial… algebra… like, bummer dude 🙁 I need to go back to school!

There is a simple ray casting engine in Java located here … http://www.permadi.com/java/rayc/index.html
That looks like a start.
