Actually, I’m becoming fond of yellow for VB Wario Land (sort of feels like a flashlight in the darkness). I like the novelty of it all, it’s definitely not a replacement for a real Virtual Boy but still it’s quite enjoyable in its own right.

Something I thought I’d mention is that individual games can be colorized (a shade of some color) how ever you like them to be (the colorization will be permanent unless you go back into the code and change it later).

So far, I have Wario Land in shades of blue (I also tried brown), Bound High in shades of Yellow, WaterWorld in shades of blue, Golf in shades green, V-Tetris in shades of orange. It’s actually quite fascinating to have games individually colorized.

I also changed the head strap to be outside as it was squeezing my face.

Definitely Ben, definitely.

It’s got less resolution unfortunately, that’s why it’s more of a novelty. I actually really like it though, as I can play any VB game instantly.

Also a photo with it plugged in to charge (it has 4 hours of mobile battery life) and a usb controller plugged in.

That’s a very cool project, I look forward to seeing the finalized result.

It seems as though it’s actually easier to find Virtual League sealed. But yes that’s the worst game on VB followed by Virtual Lab.

I really don’t think WaterWorld is a bad game at all, it’s very arcade like.

I agree, actually I really like WaterWorld. It’s essentially 3D Asteroids, in fact I’d like to see someone modify the code to be 3D Asteroids.

I checked and yes it is quite expensive.

It’s superior, I’d like to own one. I’m sure many of us would.

You are quite welcome; also that stand could be fixed by combining an aftermarket $25 stand with the parts you have left.

I think the Samus level should be a redraw of this table from Galactic Pinball and the stage should be called “Metroid Galactic”

For everything I’d estimate a value of 3748 Argentine Pesos including shipping.

Have you tried swapping new silicon pads under the buttons? Sometimes a really low quality controller can feel substantially better with just that swap. Or swap the guts entirely from a official SNES controller, I’m sure you could find a functional but horribly beat up one for cheap.
