Dang, it ended for sub $40 with shipping. That’s so awesome, I hope you won?

Oh believe me, I know how much collecting prices have skyrocketed. I bought my first complete in box VB with 5 games (all with manuals) for $110.

Nes Freak, that’s because basically every Virtual Boy is at the point where it needs to have the permanent repair done. Both of my VBs needed to be repaired within days of playing, as that glue is super old. Anyone that owns/wants to sell their VB will get more profit/use out of a fully functioning VB.

That’s actually pretty darn cool but sadly Nintendo doesn’t even include the VB on their timeline.

Well it’s good that the issue has finally been addressed. I never experienced it but I know that others definitely did.

Good list! Hunter is amazing, and yet another game I’d love to see completed.

Mario VB would have been amazing if completed, I’m sure.

I think the cart should be red, as that would be really really cool. Also what sort of price are you considering selling a copy at? I don’t want a box or manual, honestly.

Yes, you could include literally any VB game you want, even unfinished games. I never actually played all the way through Snatcher and I don’t believe I even tried VB racing. Clearly I need to if you would place them in your Top games.

So I watched videos, and wow VB racing has a ton of potential, to bad the project ended 8 years ago because it could have been something truly spectacular.

Haha, accurate. I made it Top 10 because 5 would be to easy to guess.

Good point, just like the Nintendo World Championship 1990 NES that was discovered by some dude at a garage sale for $30 in Washington. It’s worth like $20k, best $30 he’s ever spent I’m sure.

I would like to be more optimistic but it’s been 23 years and nobody has even claimed they own a copy. We haven’t even seen auctions for a copy or anything else, unlike the other game prototypes that got released and had coverage over the years.

A game that we’d all like to see but is likely not ever going to be discovered. I honestly believe it’s likely in a Nintendo archived storage, doomed to never see the light of day.

So Adafruit sells these GPIO pin headers that could be repurposed into Virtual Boy edge connectors, a solution?

Also aliexpress has 2×30 pin, which I believe is the correct amount of pins?

Actually Aliexpress has basically any number of pins available.

I am definitely excited as I like Rail Shooters, 90% of my favorite games on the Wii (back when it was popular, because it’s perfect for them) were Rail Shooters.

After weeks of trying I have finally found out how to get the sounds much better and the frame rate smoother. Now just awaiting the 3D printed parts and my VB Classic will be complete.

The weight on the VB damages it when you use it as intended (my case has got worse over the years of use by me with just storing a VB in it upright, I started laying it flat all the time). The only way would be to never use it.

It’s a decent game, it just screams for more features (upgradable armor, different weapons, and several enemies all at once would be spectacular).

I was only able to figure out SD Gundam once I received the english reproduction. It’s pretty fun because of the changing perspective. I wish it would have had regular RPG exploration aspects where maybe you go to a planet and buy parts or search out parts on quests to repair your Gundam, then meet people and challenge them.

That would be amazing to see the game with the new character added, and lessened difficulty. Maybe add an option on the start screen for easy and hard modes?
