Cheers,

Cool cheers. Will keep an eye out but guess I’ll miss it. sodding timezones & work

Damn you life getting in the way of things I like.

@UncleTusker
have you still got more to go up later on?

Gamester 81 picked up a boxed copy of Hyper Fighting at the Portland Gaming Expo.

Not sure if it was a owner sale or if someone has managed to get the ROM and selling repos. But it look to be the same of the other version I’ve seen.

I’ve got the demo of Hyper Fighting but would love a boxed complete copy to add to the collection.

Mine would have to be Virtual Bowling complete in box as new. was about $1,200 I’ve never seen a complete copy go for less. Let alone as good as new.

Has somebody in Europe already received it?? I ordered it the first day….

Postal services are always a pain, I’m in the UK, I’m still waiting on a copy of Blox but my copies of SpacePinball, Bound High and Faceball Prototype packaging turned up in about a week which I order after ordering Blox.

I think to Europe form US you might have to wait upto 4 weeks. Which is never fun. Roll of the creation of teleporters LOL.

@GauBan

Nice complete vb gaming collection you got there!

Thanks guys. Yeah I’m happy with the condition of my stuff.

Funny thing is that I’ve had Virtual Bowling, Virtual Lab and SD Gundam for just over a month and hadn’t had a chance to remove them from the packaging until I did this photo.

Another thing I find interesting is the quality of 2nd hand games from US or Japan. Whenever I go to Japan I’m always impressed with the stuff is kept. The store staff use icecream sticks to open the boxes. This is just so they don’t crease the box when open it.

I have a habit of playing my VB while laying down. This is where having the ends pointing towards the user is great. It means the soft plastic ends sit on my chest or gut rather than the hard plastic corners.

I know that most of the published material has the stand around the “official” way but I did notice that the picture on this ad seems to be round the way I have mine.

Here’s a picture of my VB collection. All my games are complete.

The only official release I’m missing is WaterWorld. It is in the house but I can’t have it till next month. The other half has this thing about birthday presents. LOL

I’m also waiting for my copy of Blox to be shipped by Uncle Tusker and I’m keeping my fingers crossed over for a Faceball prototypes from Bigmak, or at least waiting for the retail copy of Faceball Re-mastered to be released.

So are those the names of the stores you scored the games at? If you don’t mind me asking I have a friend out there now and she Is looking for VB games for me on Wednesday; If you could suggest some shops that would be great (if you had addresses that would be amazing). I’m trying to get Virtual Bowling, Gundam, and Virtual Lab for under $300 each (multiple copies if possible so I can make back the money here in the states and pay her for her trouble).

Additionally, What prices did you see on the Big four (when you saw them)?

Did you see any Copies of Insmouse by any chance? if so, was the price under 10,000¥?

wow, lot of questions, but I am very curious!

To be honest you won’t be able to find complete copies of Virtual Bowling or Virtual Lab for less than $300. SD Gundam on the other hand I managed to pick up for about $320 again complete and in great condition. The copies I picked up were the only ones that I was able to find at the time. But as these stores are all secondhand stores then you never know what is if stock when you walk in.

You can get a translated version of the location details for all the Super Potato stores from their own site

There main page

Their Aki address is
1丁目-11−2 Sotokanda
Chiyoda, Tokyo 101-0021, Japan

Google map

Mandrake which was my favorite place this trip as I got all my VB games from them.
Currently are selling Space Invaders at their Nagoya store and online for 18,000.

Also their store details

I did see a copy of Insmouse at the Nakano Broadway Mandrake which I think was priced at around the ¥10,000 mark. It was in their glass cabinet next to Virtual Bowling.

As for the games prices.
SD-Gundam was about $320 as mentioned
Virtual Lab was about $400
Virtual Bowling was about $1,200 But it is as good as new so worth it. 😀

I keep looking at Blox and think how I do need it. Just need to make sure that my car gets it’s MOT without too much cost. Then I should be placing an order.

V10167485 Japanese model. Don’t know when it was original sold but I picked it up off eBay about 3 years ago from a seller in Japan.

Bigmak,

You still taking donations for the game? I would love to have a copy.
