I’m still in the highscore top 10 (I thought), but that badge is gone for me. I’m not a really a badge collector, so I’m not complaining, but if this is a lingering bug I thought I should say something.

Indeed, you found a bug. Should be fixed now. 🙂

Very theoretic question. We would have to see if possible ports are the same as the VB originals. Scoreboards on Planet 3DS would be a possibility if not.

Hi Kriss, as we talked a while back via PM. Please save one for me I will send the money on Wednesday. Thanks.

Will do!

A little update on this: Unfortunately it’s not possible to send directly to Richard, so please also email me your shipping address when sending the money. I had to raise the price for the “box only” option a bit because of the extra shipping costs, but the other prices for the “box and cart” and “cart only” options stayed the same.

After receiving your package, please contact Richard and send him the donor cart only, so he can build your FlashBoy Plus. You’ll be able to use a small envelope for the cart, so the extra shipping should not be too expensive.

The good thing: I will be able to send your box as soon as it is done and won’t have to wait and collect orders to send stuff to Richard in bulk.

I picked up a FB+ from Richard before reading this thread. Is it still possible to purchase the box and card?

Sure! 🙂

Love it! Gold!

Update: Found (thanks to gilgamesh once more) one more person who worked on the game, audio engineer Barry Leitch. Unfortunately, he did not remember much either.

“Yeah I remember we started work on that, I don’t think I did any audio for it bar a title tune, and I don’t think I have that any more.”

Nope, nothing is planned for this year. If anything gets released, we might elect a “Homebrew of the Year” like in 2009.

Wow, this beast is sexy! 😀

Added the mp3s to the site (noreverb versions). 🙂

Seems like we do not yet have that one. Scans would indeed be nice! 🙂

I talked to one more former Boss employee in the meantime and got more confirmation that the game did not get very far. That person is Dan Chang, who was lead programmer on Spider (Playstation), which was the first published game from Boss in 1996. To quote him:

No, I didn’t work on that game, sorry. I’m trying to remember who did work on it, but also drawing a blank… from what I can recall, the project didn’t get very far before it was canceled.

@Vaughanabe13
: I hope I didn’t disappoint you too much. 😉 But I see your point and have moved the screens to the “extended part” of the article.

@akumie
: I wish I had a Ferrari, but since my 16 year old Opel Astra is a car as well I could just make it a Ferrari by painting it red and adding 400 PS, right?

Totally right, I’ll fix that. 🙂

Sorry, there’s no way to auto check the notification box. :/

Update: Since there’s not many entries yet, we decided to run the contest until we get at least 10 people participating. So… come on! 🙂

Hah! Very cool!

BTW, requirement lowered to 10+ ratings. Don’t forget you can also rate homebrew games on the emulator. 🙂

VJockey, RPack and me have been picked to be the judges for this neat little contest. Please note that we have changed the first requrement to help our database grow a bit more. Good luck, we are looking to your contributions. 🙂

I did not yet get around to including it, but it will eventually be available here: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/misc/?h

Ah OK. Please take your time and thanks for everything! 🙂

Good work, akumie! I’ll use your version on the site, OK?

@VirtualJockey: Ugh! Was the last picture really necessary? I bet you gave me nightmares for the next 2 months. 😀
