Yes, they’re all gone now. I should update this thread as well then… 😀

Another batch is not planned currently, but since demand stangely is always highest when I have only few left/when it’s sold out, there probably will be one.

Heh, in the future I’ll post all prices in beer cans, that’s nice. 😀

The poll thing was not very well done on newbb, that’s right. You have to open the thread, and AFTER you clicked send, you’re taken to the poll creation page. Or did you know that and it just did not work?

Well, I’ll go and vote now. 😉

Thanks!

Horvat: I played Bass.

Tauwasser: I use WinRAR. Bad? 7Zip would be an option as well. Our singer is native german, I don’t know what you mean with accent. Maybe it’s because I got used to his style of singing? 😀

Yes.

Here’s a 155 Mio save state. Something seems to be wrong, though, since the UFO seems to be not moving anymore. o_O

“The max score on this level was 99,999,999 as there was no slot for the 100 million digit.”

What? o_O

Anyway, I found a semi useful cheat which gives you 6 Mio Bonus whenever you lose a puck. In combination with the infinite pucks cheat this can be used to get high scores quickly.

CT: 6 Mio Lost Bonus
CC: 0-00071a0-FFFF
CC: 0-00071a1-FFFF

So it’s confirmed, good work! (How did you get 139 million that fast? :-D)

Now we should try the same thing on the emulator and look for strange behaviours. Maybe it can be patched?

To me it seems unlikely that Nintendo, if they found the bug, cared enough about the VB to release a second, v1.1 batch of Galactic Pinball. Would be cool, though.

BTW, efrog, you could’ve used the edit function to append to your previous post. Makes it easier to browse the thread with less big boxes. 😉

Well, you can try to grab a good frame from the video where you can read the score.

So you were able to reproduce the crash? I wonder, because both your screenshot, which are from two different sessions with the original cart and a FlashBoy, show exactly the same score, remaining pucks and scenery, which seems a bit unlikely.

And yes, this screenshot is OK to submit with your highscore.

EDIT: OK, by watching the videos I can see that you were actually able to reproduce that. Unbelieveable that nobody at Nintendo noticed that yet. Does the game only hang if you get the jackpot or is it completely impossible to get more than a certain score?

Maybe someone should play that far in Red Dragon (because of the save state support) and see if the bug is reproduceable on the emulator as well and what happens in memory in that moment.

AFAIK, Xoops uses standard BBCodes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bbcode.

I have no influence in what codes are supported without hacking around, which I don’t want to do anymore on the new version (or at least as few hacks as possible) for easy updating. Maybe you’re lucky and they extended their codes. 😉

There’s said to be new editors in the package, will be interesting to see what they offer.

Fixed it. Thanks for reporting! 🙂

Well done for such an extremely short time frame! 🙂 I am sure we’ll see very nice stuff from you in the future.

Currently the common ways to submit stuff are either posting it on the forum or using the submission form.

I’ll add your game right now.

I see. Well, no idea if Rezrov still has it, since it looks like the stopped collecting VB…

Right.

I disabled the auto login functionality for now, and expanded the session life-span so hopefully it won’t give any errors any more and keep you logged in for a while without the need to re-login.

Closed down in favor of the Marketplace module.

Hedgetrimmer! 🙂

20,000? Holy cow. There must be cheaper way…

3 EUR for a connector looks like a good price to me, still cheaper than a donor cart. The problem with those is that they’ve become hard to find and much more expensive. I’ve paid at least 5 EUR per donor cart for the last FlashBoy batches and not a single one of those was V.L. Baseball. I was common japanese games and I hated destroying them.
