oh yeah, you’re right! indeed it would be great if danb would have a demo ready before the end of the compo. my fingers are crossed. 🙂

yes, that one will be only a one level demo. 😉
alberto was considering to submit tron vb, though, which is a complete game.

dogps mario kart was meant as a compo entry, also, fwirt is working on yoshi’s cookie.

blox 2 was never meant to be a compo entry, btw, i would find it a bit strange to compete in my own competition. 😉

oops, right! i updated the zip file.

£92?! crap, i could have been RICH. O__O;

😀

Currently 1 euro is worth around 2 USD. I have a question in the same vein, would you guys say Wario World and V-Tetris are worth $35?

i wish, but currently 1 euro is only 1,57 usd. 😛

v-tetris is not worth that, but i think wario is, the rare japanese version at least.

yeah, crazy. i instantly made an offer of $1. ;D

😉

a copy of v. fishing recently sold on ebay.de for 45 euro.

that seems like a good price, i recently sold my second v. fishing for 40 euro.

a status update: unfortunately, at the moment there are problems with pcb production, so batch 5 is on hold. :-/

there never was a mario kart game, though. 😉

that helped, it seems to compile fine now. 🙂 thanks a lot blitter!

hey blitter, how did you actually change the path? i executed the script up to the point where i get the error, and used ultra edit to replace all occurences of “C:\gccvb\bin” with “/cygdrive/c/gccvb/bin”, then continued, but still get the exact same error.

has anyone successfully built the new gccvb on vista yet? i am using a full cygwin installation and follow the guide, but keep getting the following error:

/bin/sh: line 5: C:gccvbbin: command not found
make: *** [all-libiberty]
Error 127 Error: building binutils

there are new permanent solutions. check the sticky thread about that.

good luck with fixing your vb, victorboy, and welcome to pvb!

eiter your native language is not English, or you are really an internet noob. My guesses anyways would be that it’s broken…

actually, your own post was both noobish and not grammatically perfect. and useless on top of that. there’s no need to be harsh, ok? let’s all be nice. 😉

long ago they asked if they could use the manual scans from this site (in return i could post the n64 manuals on 64dd.net) and turn them into pdfs, and i agreed, but nothing ever happened.

i btw want to do high res and high quality rescans of everything on this site, including manuals, but have only done the waterworld manual yet. so if anyone wants to create and submit some high res scans of anything (manuals, boxes, carts, …), you’re welcome. 🙂

sorry i speak english not very well and i not understand all of your messages…

yes, you are on my preorder list.
but i cannot for sure say when new ones will be available. i have desoldered and prepared everything and am just waiting for new pcbs to finish them.

GREAT! i added a link to the sticky. i still hope i will never have to fix my vb, though. 😉

if i save something at an address beyond 0x1000, then quit the emulator, it is there. but after starting and closing the emu again, everything beyond 0x1000 is zeroes, so i think it’s a problem with saveram initialization.

i will email david about that.
