hey blitter, how did you actually change the path? i executed the script up to the point where i get the error, and used ultra edit to replace all occurences of “C:\gccvb\bin” with “/cygdrive/c/gccvb/bin”, then continued, but still get the exact same error.
has anyone successfully built the new gccvb on vista yet? i am using a full cygwin installation and follow the guide, but keep getting the following error:
/bin/sh: line 5: C:gccvbbin: command not found
make: *** [all-libiberty]
Error 127 Error: building binutils
good luck with fixing your vb, victorboy, and welcome to pvb!

eiter your native language is not English, or you are really an internet noob. My guesses anyways would be that it’s broken…
actually, your own post was both noobish and not grammatically perfect. and useless on top of that. there’s no need to be harsh, ok? let’s all be nice. 😉
long ago they asked if they could use the manual scans from this site (in return i could post the n64 manuals on 64dd.net) and turn them into pdfs, and i agreed, but nothing ever happened.
i btw want to do high res and high quality rescans of everything on this site, including manuals, but have only done the waterworld manual yet. so if anyone wants to create and submit some high res scans of anything (manuals, boxes, carts, …), you’re welcome. 🙂

if i save something at an address beyond 0x1000, then quit the emulator, it is there. but after starting and closing the emu again, everything beyond 0x1000 is zeroes, so i think it’s a problem with saveram initialization.
