very VERY nice entry! it’s a lot of fun and i love all the details like the precaution screen, the speech sample or the rotating compo splash. 🙂
btw, there’s a bug in the class selection. i assume the special cup is currently not included? or is it hidden? 🙂

my respect to everybody who submitted a project, i LOVE them all! i am off, gonna feed my VB. 🙂

did you change anything else or did you only rename the file?

i couldn’t try it out on hardware yet, but the game is becoming getting better and better rapidly, fantastic! 🙂

you forgot to include the compo splash by the way. 🙂

wow, secret entry number one! 🙂 the iphone like “sliding” is cool!

before anyone asks, just rename “Hover.01” to “Hover.vb” or just open it in reality boy, it is not a super-secret format. 😉

haha. oh my. 😀
i’d say we don’t take the deadline that seriously. if a project is a submitted some hours after midnight german time, that will be fine.

simply amazing! i can’t wait for the release! :]

mario vb crashes? i cannot confirm that, works nice for me. when does it happen? does it always crash at the same spot?

btw, you should stop complaining and be thankful for the cool stuff people create in their spare time and release here for free for everyone to enjoy. try to write something yourself and you will quickly realize what people are actually achieving.

tron vb has been released after the compo has started, so it is perfectly fine to submit it. even if the first release was a non-compo release.

what’s your point? he added the splash screen to take part in the competition.

that was the only shop, btw. 😀

hello xenon! welcome to the community. 🙂

about evolutiongames… well, sort of. they bought 20 units for resale in their shop in spain.

alright. so we will have at least three entries ready for the deadline: mario vb, mario kart and a yet unannounced game by another member. enough to give out all prizes. maybe there will be more entries shortly before the end of the compo? we will see.
anyway, i think that’s enough to not push back the deadline. so guys, i am looking forward to your entries. 🙂

GREAT one! 🙂

yep. i changed the value to 750. monitors are getting bigger anyway. 😀

yes, that looks quite good. we could also have topic prefixes for that forum, like [rip], [homebrew], , [sprites] or whatever we’d need.

~ $100

Yeah, that’s the way it works, first enter the question in the standard window, then, on the next window, you can add the poll options. i think it’s stupid, but that’s the way the forum software handles it. 🙁

yeah, you’re right, it should be “north america”, not “usa”. changed that.

so finally the article is online! i actually did a quite longish interview with the author matt kwong a while ago. too bad there is (was) no way to get one of the vbs. btw, i was told that the vbs were not sealed, aka shrinkwrapped, in contrast to what the article says.

thanks! 🙂

this is not the first game to have multiple pushers, those have been around before, called multiban levels, there are even some with a dozen pushers. sadly, the levels included in the multiblox are actually ALL two player levels ever created, plus some created or modified by myself.

i don’t want to completely change the way the graphics work, btw. 😉 i just think that the ‘pushers’ need some non flat, stereoscopic graphics, but i have yet been unable to create something goodlooking myself…

Indeed that’s a good idea. I originally wanted to include something like this in the Dev Wiki, but it’s too long winded to do it there. So we could either just create (a) sub forum(s), or a dedicated section. for a dedicated section, i could take any photo uploading module for xoops and modify it, or even write one myself. but the latter might take a while. the question is, what functionality do we need? and can the easiest solution, this forum, suit the needs?
