Does it require Baseball, or can it be any other game as well?

it could also be any other one, it’s just that vl baseball is so cheap.

Can’t U produce plastic cases? Or U use connector?

it’s possible (but not cheap) to reproduce the plastic cases, but unfortunately it is not possible to make custom connectors, so we have to sacrifice carts for that. 🙁

While it doesn´t take months of silence 😛 Is something worth to wait for ;), don´t forget us boys 😉

By the way which was my number? (perhaps <12) 😉

something around 100. i sent you 2 notifications already that your flashboy is ready, did you still not get mail?

I’m not going to be able to get one till next month, is that going to be a problem, or will there still be some in stock then?

there should be the fourth batch arount that time (if i can get some more donor carts), but you should preorder now if you want one.

I would you participate if I could code, but Jorgeche’s engine might change that.

actually… no. the engine can’t be a compensation for lack of programming knowledge, it is not a game construction kit.
if you have some basic knowledge you could just start a project and learn c while you program, though. that’s what i did. 😉

As for prizes, maybe a Flashboy w/ PVB shirt for first place, and then shirts for second and third place

exactly my thought. 😀 there will be two shirt versions to choose from btw. more about those later, when the brand new one is ready.

you should also host a game idea contest to get some creativity out there.

i was thinking about that but decided for the coding compo. maybe there will be a game idea contest in the future will smaller prizes. 😉

Waiting is killing me.. I hope I’ll be on the next command…

i emailed you 10 days ago saying that your flashboy was ready, along with payment instructions, but did not get a reply. did you not get the email? a lot of other people did not respond too, so i’ll resend all the unanswered notifications this evening.

It’d be interesting to know how many flashboy owners are using them for development, vs for playing roms, or as an addition to their VB collection. Maybe put up a poll?

not really coding competition related, but a good idea! i will do that.

That’d be cool, but I don’t think I’ve got enough time to be able to join in the fun.

too bad. 🙁 even if the competition runs until august? if you don’t have time to write something new you could also just dig out some old, unreleased project(s). 😉

and that’s true, all are preordered. “on sale” indeed sounds confusing, though, so i changed that. 😉

Who will judge the competition?

Best would be an open vote after the competition, I think.

sure jorge! 😀

actually, €2000 for zero racers would a steal, wouldn’t it?

WOOT! 😀

when you say that again tomorrow, i’ll scream “woot!”. i mean it’s still the 1st of april and i don’t trust anybody today. 😉

oh, happy heart attack day!

since you’re listing the different ps3 hd sizes, you should also add the different xbox 360 versions.

it should have all that. i haven’t seen the final version myself yet, though.

only some very early demos were released. the final version will (hopefully) be out soon, jorge has finished the engine and is writing the docomentation for it. 🙂

vbjaengine

the marketplace module was a replacement for the marketplace forum, but with expanded functionality.

in my eyes, the only benefit of the marketplace forum would be that people can post ebay links.

what do the others think? maybe offer both options?

yes. there will be a fourth batch of 30 very soon after the third one, of which a lot are not yet preordered.

sigh… it has been a while since the last post of this kind, i nearly thought people would finally know the difference… seriously, WHAT on this site makes people think that it might be about game boy emulation?!
