The design looks cool. I would have assumed there’d be interest – What’s with the silence everyone!? Have we just reached the point where there’s more working and available AC adapters then there are working Virtual Boy’s? It would be sad, but understandable if that’s true.

So, the $185 “VB Decade Case” is basically your own version of the VB travel case? Also, I don’t see the cartridge case listed on your DeviantArt page and I didn’t see a price listed here…my apologies if I just missed it.

The original one I got from you is 5 feet long. It’s mostly a perfect fit, but when using two VB’s, a Virtual tap and arcade sticks as controllers, it’s cutting it a bit close. I think 6 feet would be perfect.

That looks awesome. Is it longer than your other one? If it doesn’t affect the signal, longer would be better.

The carbon fiber is both unique and awesome. What a cool solution!

That pin connector looks awesome. I really hope that makes it to production! Let me know if you need help finding a manufacturer to do it.

I’m in for 1 set when they go on sale. I’m keeping my eyes open for a second VB, as my VirtualTAP modded one wasn’t in great condition. I’ll install this in a new one when I find it.

I’ll take a set too. I don’t need them, but I’ll make sure to do a writeup when they come in. Heck, maybe I’ll restore another VB just for this…

Received my quotes and have selected a board house for the initial prototype run. I’ll be building 10 initial units. Order should go in within the next two weeks. Waiting for some funding to come through to cover the cost on this small initial run.

That’s exciting!

I have a VB that needs repair. The left eye seems washed out / too bright and the right eye has lines going through it. The last time I used my VB, I just had to leave it on for an hour or so and all the interference was gone…but that’s not working anymore.

I was hoping to get a permanent fix for the eyes, plus have two VirtalTap kits installed: One VGA and one RGB (I already have both kits). Is there anyone in the NYC area, or within a short shipping distance that can do this?

I think this is friggin awesome and would buy one right away. I also think this is one of the few examples where the advantages of something like this far outweigh any lag or inaccuracies added by emulation.

When mednafen first added 3D support for VB, I spent a long time trying to tweak it to work on my Panasonic 3DTV. I’m one of the few people that actually love 3DTV’s (when the content is done correctly), so I went into this with a positive attitude and high hopes. I just couldn’t get it working right though. If there was a Raspberry Pi solution that could work in 3D, I’d jump on it. Maybe things have improved enough to make it happen?
