Ok that little display with the tiny VB on it is the best thing I’ve seen today. This looks awesome good job! Even though my use for it would be limited I still want one =P

All the games were cheap in that sort of time period. 3D Tetris and Nesters bowling (to a lesser extent) got more expensive then the cheaper games over the years. My guess is they had a smaller print run.

3D Tetris has been expensive for a few years now. It seems to go Nester Bowling -> 3D Tetris -> Waterworld, then Jack Bros. being the most expensive. I remember picking up my CIB copy of 3D Tetris in auction for about $100 like 3 or so years ago and thinking I got a good price.

Even in the past year or two things have definitely gotten more expensive.

Oooh, I gotta try out the sound test on my VB

I actually read through your password posts after I finished everything. You are absolutely right with how confusing the programming is. I’m not sure if they disabled optimizations or wrote everything in asm and copy/pasted their code. There is this function that writes the Japanese text into the gameboard. Every single char of a line is written by its own line of code. The code is the same over and over again.

That’s kind of funny actually, it truly is a “my first game” sort of scenario is seems =P

We don’t mess around here, glad to hear you got something in the works, there Mellott!

Awesome! Can’t wait for more info 🙂

Oh wow … I wasn’t aware of those 3D graphics approaches on the Game Boy – very cool! Thanks for sharing!

It’s always fascinated me, attempting such graphics on a Gameboy!

Love the idea of this (and the rom you have)!

I don’t think I have anything….

Hey those are really cool, I’d love to own one of those TV’s!

That’s freaking awesome dude!

I don’t have anything to that scale on rarity per say….

Thanks! And holy crap, that’s really cool! I didn’t know they released carts with their music on it!

Here’s another thing I think is pretty cool, a Prototype PS3 controller

Of course it’s fine, anyone over 7 can safely play it.

I didn’t know there was something beyond Elite..

Time to start upping my game! lol

Yeah, there ya go. I believe there’s even a ferry that will take you from Seattle to Victoria. It’s the south tip of the island, but hey, it’s direct to the island anyway.

West coast is the best coast =P

But yeah, welcome to our side of the continent.

Where did those screenshots come from?

Wow, there’s some great stuff in those scans!! Even mention of comanche!

The V Bowling repro? I’d think anything over $100 is too much for a repro, but maybe that’s just me.

Ha, that is too cool. Thanks for sharing, Ben!

Holy crap, that is exactly what I needed to finally have a US display.

Oh well, just wasn’t in the cards I suppose.

No worries, it happens.
Actually I see now that it is on sale actually. The normal price they have listed is the one I’ve seen around, so, I guess 15% above what it’s at now :p

I think that’s the third time that proto has been posted to this thread? It’s final, Buyatari from assemblergames.com owns it, and he doesn’t have any plans to lower the price anytime soon.

That Japanese display seems to be a tad lower then regular ebay prices, but still too much. It’s too bad they’re hard to find, as they’re a great stand. But the ebayers know it’s hard to find, hence the prices.

It’s definitely the classic display cable issue. Check out this thread for people who fix it for good. The oven fix is a band-aid fix at best.
