I’m glad to hear everyone is helping out here. I’ll also echo how great this community is, they were a help in getting me into the system. So many awesome and helpful people here.
I like how your doing another run of this game, Dan. While I’m not getting one I know a lot of people were bummed when they missed out on it. I’m glad they had another shot at it!
It would be cool to have a Virtual Boy image viewer. Use a similar command prompt for loading photos on flashboy for viewing on the VB. Bonus points for 3D photo support =P
Reading the thread there the dude seems straight up. Also the Hyper Fighting rom isn’t out there as far as I know, so I don’t think that’s anything to worry about.
Well it looks like Uncle Tusk is involved, so it’s gotta be legit. They are also just doing the translated ones, not reproducing the originals. As long as they put a little mark on the package somewhere saying it’s a repro I’d be ok with it.
Good point, Ben. It would be pretty hard for them to track down Anonymous, lol.
I agree with L_E_T though, there is a public demo that is the exact same game technically, just less content. The market has apparently set the price, when the first one went up for auction and sold at what, $1500 I think? So that’s what people want for them now. Enter the demo, which at least gives you a nice playable taste of what it is, with zero cost of entry, minus Flashboy.
I have an Everdrive 64. Works great, awesome compatibility, and can even play 64DD games. The only downside I can think of is if I forget to push reset before I turn off the console my progress won’t save.
Yeah, it will go on either way. The correct way is with the Nintendo logo facing you. Just don’t force your stand on is the lesson there. Sometimes it doesn’t want to go together, you just gotta fidget with it a bit until it just glides on, no forcing required.
