The 25 bound high, space pinball’s on the way to me…so, I should get them this week. I’ll ship them off to vince as soon as I can (by Saturday ??? maybe). Again..I keep stating this but, last time we’re making these for awhile..unless there is a huge demand. So get them while you can..you’ve had warnings 🙂 so don’t be mad if they sell out.
Also 25 of the faceball proto’s are coming….Vince will sell these in his store cib. If you don’t get one of the 70 carts i’m giving away for free..this will be a way for you to get a cib set.
and Surprise..some english gundams are coming my way. Don’t expect them in the store anytime soon thou….
I’ve got more connectors here I have to send out..we didn’t have enough to make a full (or even half) run of these. This is my fault..after the last batch..work has crushed me and I haven’t gotten the time to do much work on these. Also, I’m waiting on another case of baseballs so I can send them all at once. If i can wait til I get that other case of baseballs, I can send enough connectors to finish off the small run of gundams and maybe a full run of faceball: remastered.
Also, even thou the manual and box of gundam has been done (in english)..I don’t think any ‘clean up’ work has been done on either. So, no time table to get those out yet. Also..don’t forget..the price to make these are higher (save ram ect)..so we’ll have to sell them at a higher price.
That reminds me..I have to play each game and save it..and make sure the save works before I ship them to vince 😛 will slow down the process a bit.

Talked to uncletusk..he should have the labels out next week prob (?). Not sure how long it will take me to send them out all..sending them all at once will be a nightmare..maybe 15 a week ? I’ll list the names that go out or ..something.
Now this is just the prototype rom..as a thank you to the community. If you want to play the more complete game..faceball: remastered will prob be the best bet.
I think vince is starting to print up the hintbook and poster n stuff..so if you want a cib..he might have them ready to order ..hrms I have no clue 🙂 don’t even want to give a date.

Hrnms I understand the thought of unreleased prototypes captures the mind and people want to talk about them. But, it seems like threads like this one go off tangent quite a bit…

I don’t know of anyone that knows anything about who has these roms. There are no talks that I know of to get these roms..there are no plans to make these CIB’s…Just don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up. Even IF someone somehow gets the roms..I think there is a low chance that the 2-player code was coded into the games…
I think the best bet if you want 2-player games is homebrew…but it’s the chicken and the egg..the coders prob need cables to help code homebrew games…but who’s going to try to mass produce cables without the games…
I don’t see the translated gundam happening <3 months. I don't even have all the connectors in hand..then taking the carts apart..sending them off ..that's not to mention changes that might be needed on the paper side of things...
The connectors are getting boards for the restocking of bound high and space pinball (25 each)..again..last time these will be restocked in awhile (might be over a year..unless we have a HUGE surge of people requesting)..we’re moving on.
25 prototype faceballs are also getting ready to go to the store. Around the same time..the paper for the cib’s will go on sale (to those who get free carts in the mail). Cart’s are still waiting labels.
I’m getting more baseballs in..also I have to unshell what I have here. We’ll use those for a 50 cib run of an english gundam release, also a 75 cib run of faceball: remastered.
After that..I’ll try to pick up more baseballs..these will prob go to restocking the store for blox/gundam/faceball: remastered….maybe around that time we can get a 50 cart release of space squash..or fishbones…we’ll see..we’re talking more distant future stuff here.
Also talked to tusk. For those wanting to make there own boxes/manuals. The files to make them will be released after a period of time (like 6 months after we start selling them ???? no clue).

HorvatM – If you could add some kind of control screen to set the controls..that would be best. That way when we make physical copies of the game..people would have a choice.
Hey dude 🙂 space pinball is avail now. You will be able to pick up a copy of the faceball proto type with box n stuff ‘soon’..not sure when soon is. We’ll also make a cib Faceball: remastered which will be more like the game it was supposed to be. Yea 🙂 we’re getting releases out 🙂
I actually can’t flash it from my main computer..something is wonky about my usb connections :p problems with skype also. So, to flash I have to use my wife’s laptop :P..oh she luvs that 😛
Recently..we reformatted the laptop also…so I have to reinstall everything…blah…I just want to play the demos.
When we make the physical copy of the game..there will only be 1 control scheme ..I don’t see us making 3 different cart with different control schemes. Some people just aren’t going to like the one we pick…
