First off..some of you may have noticed some of the free proto carts are ending up in the mail 🙂 12 were sent out a week or so ago..and I’m planning on sending out 20+ on wed..with another 20 next week. I THINK all the carts are spoken for..so please no pm’s asking for carts at this time. I’ll know better where i’m at when I get done mailing out the batch next week.
Tusk has the packaging done for those who want to make it CIB. I think he’ll have the packaging (with box, instructions, hint book and poster)..next month ? He’s really waiting for me to get these carts out 😛 so the delay isn’t on him..it’s on me. He’ll also put 25 full CIB’s for sale around the same time..for those that didn’t get a free cart in the mail.
The rest of the blox boards and gundam boards are on the way to me. The blox’s will fill out the 50 for the store (on sale now 🙂 )..and the gundam’s will fill out the 50 that are with me atm. Still getting the hang of the dremel..i’m only finished ONE cart so far. So..I’ll need to get crackin on the other 49 😛 BUT..i want to get out these proto carts first…1 thing at a time..keep telling myself.
Paid for a hunk of baseballs today (just over 300)..should get them by the end of next week..in 6+ 48 box cartons. Puuh..I see lots of work ahead..but the repros will keep on coming.
So, summary

3. packaging for the proto faceball carts out next month (? guess but should be close)
4. 25 cib proto faceball next month (again..guess but should be close)

I see fishbones and a english space squash coming next..but again..just my opinion..if we do get those out…that would put us at…..(bound high, space pinball, blox, faceball proto, gundam, faceball remastered, fishbones, space squash) 8 repros by the end of the year ?? heh I can’t wait til we pass the US virtual boy releases 😛

When the vboy stopped being supported in the US. A great deal of games (the rare ones) had rumors about them. Insmouse was one of them. Some of the rumors said it was an rpg…some said it was a first person adventure..but all of them got the name wrong 😛 This could be a very old name coming back again.
This might sound odd..but do you have a game in it ? the vboy will ‘power up’ and the mirrors will make a sound..but no display if no game is in it (or the game is in it wrong).

Before I traded my collection..I use to have a really hard time just typing online..knowing I had a collection a few feet from me..with the worth of a new car :P.
If I were able to talk to you before you sold it all..I would have said to keep 1 vboy and keep all your games…that’s what I’ve done. All that extra stuff is just extra.

What did you do this weekend ? I wasn’t at work..but I was working.
Got some boxes from Richard this weekend *side note..Richard has the nicest smelling…boards. He sends his stuff in soap boxes* Put together the last of the bound high/space pinball (25 each) and 25 of the faceball prototypes. Play tested them all..so all’s good. Sent them off to Tusk this morning.
Also got the first 25 English Gundams. Put a few together and play tested the game/checked the save function. Worked fine. The battery cage is a bit high. The shell bulges a bit because of the cage..I’m gonna try out the dremel on the case tops next week end to fix it. The cage is def the way to go on these thou, if the battery wears out..very easy to change.
Richard as always is way ahead of me. He has the rest of the board (25) done of gundam and is awaiting connectors. He’ll also start working on the faceball: remastered boards once we have a final rom done.
I have 60+ baseballs here…I need to get the connectors out and send them to Richard. But, to much going on right now for me to rush on it. Also, I’d like to get more baseballs and send one large load to him (to cover the gundams/faceball: remastered/and whatever store stock we need to get done). The problem is getting more baseballs. To get more I have to do a massive order..might not be able to do it for another month. But, it should be enough to get everything planned done this year..so the earlier I do it..the better.
