Panic Bomber was release on other systems as well (PC Engine, Super Famicom, and a few others).

3-D Tetris is similar to Blockout and Geom Cube.

Listings like that have constantly been showing up in the Video Game categories (and I’d assume other categories as well) for a while now. I get the feeling that they’re meant to collect contact information. I’m not sure for what purpose, but with the buyer protections that eBay and Paypal offer, it doesn’t seem likely that they’re actually getting any money through Paypal.

I got mine at Toys R Us on clearance. I never had an interest in it before then, but after playing the demo unit for a few minutes, I was sold.

If you are not a purist, and have a flashboy, there is a hack that will allow you to stage select.

I am a purist and would have to start at stage 1. Clearing the second loop wouldn’t be as satisfying if I skipped the first loop. Besides, I would likely need the first loop to build up a bunch of extra lives anyway.

Well, as you’ve probably already seen with my score on the high score list, the best I’ve ever been able to accomplish is 654,020 points while making it to stage 65 (without looping at all, of course). I do want to try to score the 999,999 points at some point and make it past level 99, but I don’t know if I presently have enough practice to do so.

Great score, by the way!

I’m sure you could do it without too much trouble, as you already have some pretty amazing high scores. My best scores in Galactic Pinball are nowhere near yours (and I’m pretty sure I’ve spent more time with that game than Mario Clash).

Interesting. I can’t find any mention of it online other than in this video:

I’ve gotten it before. I thought it was a pain to get though. There’s a bit of luck involved due to the random placement of the items.

The seller mentions that it’s sun faded in the description.

本体外箱は日焼けやダメージがあります。

Which means something like “The box has sun fading and damage.”

Star Fox sounds good. I think Space Harrier would work well too.

You’re off to a good start. Mario Tennis, Wario Land, and Red Alarm are some of my favorites. If you like Pinball, Galactic Pinball is a good one too. You may want to pick up a FlashBoy to play homebrews and unreleased games. Bound High is a great unreleased game which a limited number of reproduction carts were made, but since they’re no longer available, you’ll need the FlashBoy to play it on your system. You can get one here:

Japanese games work fine on an American Virtual Boy. I’d say Space Squash is the best of the Japan exclusive titles. If you want to give Jack Bros a try, the Japanese version is much more affordable than the US version.

Also, if you don’t already have one, get an ac adapter and tap. If you play it a lot, you’ll go through batteries quickly.

Neat idea! I wound up trying it on a few different games. The password works well with Battlezone. I had to tweak the color, but X and Face Ball 2000 look pretty good too.

Looks nice. I’d be interested in one too.

Thanks Eric for the information.
Do you restock a few SD Gundam English Translation Set’s again?
I would like to bought it because I overslept the release complete. 🙁

That was the only one that we weren’t planning on restocking. The problems with ebay bothered us a bit.

How many people were unable to order this game before they sold out ?….I would really hate to deprive collectors or having a finished collection..but it’s hard when people sell this on ebay for 200 + each.

I know it has been a while since you posted this, but is there any chance you guys are considering making a few more Gundams?

Here’s my translation:

Memorial Guidebook

All released software included!

The truth is like this!

(disclaimer: I’m not fluent in Japanese)

Hi. Just posting here to say that I missed out on them too and would like to see them available again.

Ah, I missed that. Thanks for pointing it out.

Missed the chance to get one – do i have any chance to get one cart? Of course i’m willing to donate or buy for it!

I’d be interested in one as well. Is there any chance more will be made?

It makes you wonder if it was just slapped on by Blockbuster employees.

Mine is upside down too. I always assumed this was the reason.

It’s now over 4 years later and I’m bumping this. The pen trick didn’t work for me and I never could find a security bit that actually fit (nor do I know anyone with a grinder to grind the shorter one I already have). I wound up just buying another system, which now has the same problem. Is there a place that sells these now at a reasonable price? The only one I could find is on eBay, but the seller wants $33 for it and it doesn’t seem like it can even attach to a ratcheting screwdriver like the other bits do.

If there are no reasonably priced ones out there, would anyone here be willing to file/grind the bit I already have for me?

I’m still interested, but could you please reply to the question I asked earlier?
