Ah, nu är det perfekt, KR155E! 😉

Hi KR155E 😀
But the letter Å is still missing from the VB font in the topic line. It seems to be replaced with whatever letter comes before it in the string…

Det beror väl mest på att att det inte finns så många svenskar aktiva här, snarare…

Men visst, vad ska vi diskutera då? 🙂

Cool, I wasn’t even aware that counter was there 😛

This is great news! Happy birthday PVB!

(I’d imagine VUCC is a less advanced compiler than gcc nowadays, though?)

I’m using Windows 7 RC 64-bit, no problems.

Sorry 😛
Thanks for sharing the scans

Ah, I’m not using the frontend. I’ve made separate shortcut icons for every game that I use regularly, and manually put different parameters in them, like:

Target: “D:\…\reality_boy.exe C:\cygwin\home\Dan\yeti3d\bin\yeti3d.vb -dspmode affine -pallet rc -brite 1.5 -sclscr 2 -volume 64”

Then I just click on one on the desktop to run it.

Let’s say it together: [puhngk-choo-ey-shuhn]

Still grey palette when red palette is chosen.

… and when running affine mode they’re all red/blue no matter what palette is chosen.

It works as it should for me now… are you sure you’re using the right parameters?

Hey, Para! Great to have you back in the VB scene

What about these titles? Each letter seem to be a separate .png right now, but maybe they could be made into a font?

It is, and I have. But I see now that java doesn’t work on any website for me, so I guess it’s something on my side…

I second e5frog. The anaglyph red/cyan mode doesn’t work anymore (“-dspmode affine -pallet rc”) It’s greenish/yellow/red inverted sort of. Did you change the command line parameters?

Weird… This is all I’m getting (Firefox 3.6)

Wow, that looks amazing! Almost like a photo! Great job

All there is to know is in the Official Developers manual (First link in the Documents section)

(You need to be logged in to see it though)

Mario’s Tennis was included (but unboxed) with US Virtual Boys. It wasn’t included at all in Japan.

About the folding at the bottom: Maybe it is just folded wrong? I bet you can unfold it and put it back together so it looks like that scanned box.

And the black line, does it have a corresponding offset in the print around the other edges of the box?

I recently bought a used Wario Land (Game Boy) and I got a little hesitant about it being genuine too. A couple millimeters of the sides color are visible on the front, and in general the print seems to be offset a bit from the cutting. The image is also slightly blurry and faded. But I don’t know, maybe even nintendo has varying quality on their boxes in different batches of the game?

I have done some testing now, and it does indeed seem like the object handling works perfectly now! Great work, Pat! One step closer to a perfect emulator. Now direct screen drawing is pretty much the only thing left that falters. 😉

So, was the dev manual wrong, and do you have some new notes on missing/updated info about the objects to share?

Thanks
