I’d rather see Heretic, its better then Doom but uses the same basic engine! Make Heretic instead, Doom is way overated Heretic had only one release.

Just make it similar, create your own battling monsters; I recommend limiting the amount of monsters to 25 otherwise you will get way overwhelmed.

Only 1 left in the first batch. Next person to pay gets it! All others have to wait for batch 2. Which means like 2-3 weeks.

TUSK

I just paid for it, so now I will officially have a completed box!

@thunderstruck
– James Rolfe (AVGN) hates the Virtual Boy, he truly does. Why would you send him a game for a console that he hates? He didn’t even want that copy of Jack Bros. that he was sent for free.

🙂 Mine!

It’s crappy they give all the credit to Miyamoto, all he did was program and design sprites. Mario was created by him as Jumpman in Donkey Kong.
But Gunpei Yokoi developed the powers Mario had from 1985 -1995, all of Marios coolness was of Yokoi’s imaginative brain.
Miyamoto was only Yokoi apprentice up until 93′.
So yea, I hate Miyamoto fanboy love.

I just bought this and had $9.20 in eBay Bucks so I only had to pay a little over $5. 🙂

Dor-si, I found that this morning and was amazed as its close to the prototype design; to bad he didnt paint it red and black.

I also collect Famicom but do not own a 3D System, because there are only about 7 games for it with most being Disk System games. Seems like a overly costly collectable as I also don’t own a Disk System.

I like green the most as its like a throwback to the green of original GB.

How hard would it be to get custom lenses?

Actually its quite a calming color, I wonder how a set of evergreen lenses would look on VB?

I love repaired VB’s; they work so much nicer! 🙂

I ended up spending $22 and bought a fully complete Gameboy copy of Faceball, as I think it’s the closest I will ever be to the Virtual Boy version. Close enough, I say.

Dang, that is a good price. I wish I had the available funds.

Wow cool, and you might have luck repurposing old LCD games with a new rom installed?

He calls the rental case part of the Deluxe Virtual Boy set; lol.

As a child, I used to ask for things like the Tyco Hovercraft but instead I’d get some rubber band powered UFO made out of styrofoam. Or I’d clip out pictures of remote control airplanes and get arm powered paper gliders instead. It happened every birthday and Christmas. It seems like no matter what I wanted, my parents always got me something completely different. I give them an A for effort, but they were a bit out of touch when it came to toys.

So, when I saw this thing, it brought all those memories back. I’m really amazed they didn’t get me this instead of my Virtual Boy! Lol!

Neat and I searched using 5 different engines without even finding a bit of information on the Lansay Radical X Phantom 117.

Thanks for sharing.

Wikipedia and a whole lot of japanese websites.
I probably should have cited them. opps.
iQue and 64DD have had the sales totals switched by accident.

Excellent, a mention from a person whom never used a VB in their entire lifetime. I hate people whom think they know about VB, but really are only reposting the lies they have heard.

I watched it yesterday, but was to busy to respond.
Very cool video, I like what you did; its neat you talk about the cool homebrews. I now am wanting to play Tron, Blox, and Blox 2.
