Man, how do you get SP’s for $20 on eBay? (Of course, I shouldn’t complain; I just bought a PSP for $66 on eBay, and my gamecube only cost me $40, both of which work fine. ) Anyway, like I said earlier, I think it looks great. See, now someone just needs to make a GBA Virtual Boy emulator like PocketNes is for NES, and then your VB Advance would really pwn 😉 .

Wow, nice DogP! How did you do it? I had an idea a while ago to mount two small cameras on a visor, mount it on a VB and process the output somehow… I have no idea how you’d do that though. Your way looks better than that.

Wow, I like it! ….But how much did it cost you for all the SP’s? It looks expensive…..

FOR FREE!!!???? :woah:

Dang…..

Could you develop a printer port driver if you had the knowhow? (which I don’t :P)

By the way, where did you all get your dev units anyway? eBay?

Oh yeah, one last question, why are there empty spaces where the controller and ext ports on a normal VB?

Wario Land is a must have. Mario Clash is okay… I still don’t have that one yet….

(If you’re unsure as to whether you want a game or not, you could always try them out in an emulator, although it’s not quite the same… 😉 )

Right….. Manufactured by STD, distributed by Performance. I feel like such an idiot. 😀

…Is it just me or is STD a really bad name for a company?

Hmm… I wonder why I didn’t notice it in the collection screen earlier… Y’know, you’re probably right about it being better than the Nintendo one, but first party VB stuff is more rare.

Why isn’t it on the accessories page?

Hey guess what? It must’ve been the batteries because with my new AC adapter it starts up fine…

Heh heh heh…. 😀

Anyway, I now have 2 nearly complete Virtual Boys (one is missing its eyeshade and has a broken stand.) Speaking of which….. are there any good ways to fix a stand? I think I’ll just wrap mine in tape….

Wow, I hadn’t noticed the pop-up menus. I think it works great. 🙂

On a side note (another odd thing that doesn’t quite work right), on the login screen when I click the [>] button to login, the flags move a bit to the right. :/

Tauwasser, why do you have javascript turned off?

Wow. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this program! Now I can play Teleroboxer without contorting my wrists into odd positions! And I can use my joystick as a mouse! AMAZING!!!

How many VUE-Debuggers are in existence anyway? I know there’s a few that ended up in really sad places like this:

“Got one here 😉 I use it to prop open my office door.”

Are the rest of them rotting in landfills, or gathering dust in a warehouse somewhere?

I know it’s just the display unit, it takes another big computer box type thing that it plugs into doesn’t it? So, how does this thing work anyway?

Holy cow….. That’s a dev kit!? It’s funny how such valuable things end up in the hands of people who have no idea what they are. Oh well, It’s slightly appealing to me as a collector, but I’ll feel better knowing that it’s in the safety of KR155E’s collection.

Hey, is there any way to mod a regular VB and turn it into a dev kit? The outsides look pretty much the same… How much different is the hardware?

Yeah, I’ve wondered if VB could handle polygons as well. I think the SNES Starfox would be great if it could be ported to the VB.

Actually, I saw the news about the Yeti port a while ago. As for the 3d effects on that, could you just have each screen display a slightly different camera angle? Such as have the right eye be a right camera, and the left eye be a left camera?

Y’know, I’m surprised I haven’t seen this topic before. I’ve had this idea about putting some sort of removable flash storage onboard a cart for the longest time (especially CF), but never posted it. I guess I didn’t need to, you came up with it on your own. Lemme know how it goes!

This kind of thing has always interested me because I can’t afford an EPROM reader/writer, so I wanted a slightly cheaper alternative to buying an EPROM writer just for a few dev projects. This looks very good.

I’m not sure how long Space Squash is, but I’m pretty sure it’s fairly long and all story mode. But it IS a fun game so I’d say you should get it.

Oh yeah, DEFINITELY get Teleroboxer. That’s probably one of my favorite games. It rocks!

Hmm… That’s reeeeeally interesting. The person who’s listing it doesn’t seem to know much about it. If it’s modded so that you can connect it to a parallel port and upload ROMs then that would be very interesting… Unfortunately, I don’t live in Europe so I can’t buy it. I’d say….ask the person if they know more about it. If not, someone here might want to buy it, just to see (a) if it works, (b) what it does, (c) if someone can make a schematic for the mods that someone made.

That’s fine, just curious. 😀

Okay, just a quick question. Now that PVB has ROMs up (I love this since some VB ROMs are rather hard to find) is there any chance that Bound High might be hosted here in the near future?
