Neonihonsei either has a huge virtualboy collection or he gets these from somewhere and sells them for more because almost all the time as soon as one of his boxed games are sold another one will be available, they are at bargain prices as well i got mario clash and red alarm boxed with its clear plastic covering with a tiny slit at the top obviously to check if its all inside

so thats probably why theyre pretty much brand new he just checks to see if the stuff is inside.

id love to know where he gets them or hes collection how big it is

My vb got the glitchy display in the right eye and now in the left my dad had to like others have said edit a screwdriver so it will fit and unscrew the screws wich i must say were very tight inside the virtual boy and if the head of the screws in the virtual boy snapped itd be hard to get them out

i will have to get my dad to fix the left eye because im gettin some vb games for christmas lol

dogp’s method with the chemicals to get that plastic part when you open the vb up and wanna re solder the part thats makin it all glitchy didnt wanna work id say we did it wrong but my dad used a fine sandpaper and managed to be able to re solder it after doing that

i must thank dogp though for how to getting the vb open and a guide for all of it this site rocks!

just a question but how long does wario land for the VB take to finish like estimate? and does it have a good storyline and ending

ONE more question is that i was looking for Midi files for music to add in my game for game maker and found a virtual boy one with mario tennis doubles music and galactic pinball music and their was a metroid music for galactic pinball

is their such thing as a metroid theme music in galactic pinball for the VB?

WOW man im sure thousands of people would love you if you released these, i doubt il ever get to play anyone of them games, sadly i cant afford them but if i could i would buy them..

i would love to play space invaders on the virtual boy, also virtual bowling – seing it being different to nesters funky bowling, an rpg (sd gundam dimension war) looks like great fun and to play an unfinished game (virtual lab) would be fun and funny to show to friends.

These games seem verrryyy cool and its a pitty that theyre so rare, but for people like you who have them im impressed and to even take thought of dumping these games is very generous indeed, maybe you could have a website and release 1 a week or month or something, start getting people to your site and maybe have a donation addition for the hard earned money youve spent into owning these games, someone to dump them would be a great day for i and many others

Great work on collecting these games im impressed, and the ACTUAL game would still be a want for any collector, wether its been dumped or not, i myself first played tones of games on a VB emulator and to experience on a actual virtual boy is even better… if these get released i may even consider buying a flashboy!

Thanks for the comment xjapan, yeah it was bassicaly a virtual boy head unit and the left eye of it was the text saying virtual boy and i did an effect and it made it blurry and smudged but looked good overal so i just put the same smudge for a right eye and they didnt match so the glow of the eye hid the mistake.. your probably right though the glow should go.

il probably make a better one with a neck as a stand or something lol and shoes as virtual boy head units or something

the 5 games are for me for christmas anyway i just tell my dad what i wanna get and hel bid on it all them games were from australia so the price is different if you thought i might of been talking about a different currency..

yeah i remember seing insmouse with its box for like 60 or 70 then like 130 then changing very strange…

i wanna get space squash that was the first game i played on the VB emulator with the 3d red and blue effect ( i had 3d glasses) and i thought it was brilliant lol.

it would be fine, the black eye shade on the virtual boy where you look into is soft and bendable and you would be able to look at the screens just as well without wearing glasses.

and if somehow it didnt fit or wasnt comfortable for you, you can always de-attatch the eye shade that you look into, then just go in a room where their isnt much light and just turn it on and it would work just as good

either way their shouldnt be a problem.

hmm not really sure how it could of damaged via mail.. i mean if it bounced and smashed around it would probably only ruin the display of the game…

not really sure sorry…

i bought a virtual boy guy said it was in great condition no glitchy display works fine and when i got it lots of scratchs with his initials in it and the stand was just about to be snapped and so it broke and about 5 days later its gotten glitchy display in the right eye… going to fix it on the weekend hopefully its all opened up etc

the power problem may be with the connection of the controller to the virtual boy with the power supply… i dont know i only have the battery pack.

sorry i shouldnt of said ‘good deal’ but considering that i was going to buy vertical force japan version only one i could find one buy it now for like 35 bucks ive seen the other games on ebay for about 25 dollars each buy it now

and i have never seen mario clash japanese version on ebay before

i bought the u.s version of mario clash so im not sure wether i should sell this japanese version or just keep it

if i were to sell all these games at $19.99 each australian dollars, including postage each i would get $100 australian dollars

so im sure it aint a bad deal and the ac adapter tap thing seems useless then for me i may sell that..

yeah someone should do a business and fix peoples problems with VB’s it would be very handy and they could make profit..

im getting mirrored vision in the right eye of my vb and u no what sucks

i payed alot for the VB they said no problems, as i got it the stand i spread its 2 legs open and boom it snapped, i had to superglue it and then i see all these mark scratchs on their with the guys initials with a knife probably

and now the right eye on the VB is getting glitchy mirrored images in its right eye, not the left one however…

The virtual boy sounds like its in brilliant condition

that would probably sell for 100-200 bucks with all the peices how ever i have seen on Ebay that people sell the peices seperately and probably get more in the end

example: 100 bucks for VB with stand head unit, controller everything you need.

example: controller sells for 35, head unit sells for 45, stand sells for 30

maybe even more, and then you gain an extra 10 or so dollars

lots of people have got broken stands or controllers etc and dont want to buy the whole thing all over again cause theyre missing a peice to complete the VB.

about the games, i’d sell them seperately as for someone might be looking for a particular one not wanting to buy 10 of them since they already have say 5 of them

They all have individual prices and combining them all together forcing people to pay alot when they only want maybe one of them may put them off.

as for the wario land with box no manuals or instructions, im sure someone would buy that as well as they could buy one of them ‘repair and store your virtual boy cartirdges’ or something i forgot what its called, it has some manuals, the boxing inside and the plastic to protect the game, but no box art.

i want wario land with its box, id be happy to buy the other thing to have a manual etc.

as for teleroboxer yeah sell them with the manual i see alot of them, they go for a bit more then what the cartirdge would just sell for, as well as panicbomber.

Buy it now’s are great as for i dislike auctions sometimes, i just want to get the game over and done with, as long as its the right price, im not sure exactly on the price of each individual game is though.

maybe auction a few off and ones where you know its price and what it exactly for that price then put it as a buy it now.

and make sure you sell all of it worldwide if you do it seperately, theire is plenty of australians and other places like me who have trouble getting some of the games cause no one sells them worldwide..

it also brings a wider audience of people who are missing a game or so.

yeah ive got it coming worse now as sometimes it wont be glitchy and sometimes it will be all like mirrored in the right eye like in teleroboxer the boxer would be punching and it would be showing it again with the glitchyness so yeh..

its anoying though as the guy said it hasnt experienced any glitchy display problems… first the stand breaks now this.. oh how will i tell my dad..

guess il wait till it becomes such a pain and just tell my dad that it is fixable and its normal right? its not like i have to buy a new replacement head yes?

what do u think is probably the best method.. my dad has a soldering iron hes pretty good at it

also.. the stand they normaly break dont they – because part of it is made of metal then a plastic oval shape thing with nintendo on it holding the 2 legs just snaps but glued it back to brilliance

and when did nintendo stop fixing VB and do u know why, do u ring the number on the VB to get it fixed or something, or used 2?

i recently just got a virtual boy and its been about 5 days and ive just noticed very slightly that an image on the screen will flicker near the top right for a second then disapear it happend to me on teleroboxer a slight image of the boxer popping up the top right, very slightly just a flicker and it was gone

the next day marios tennis it did it again but twice and a bit then that was it..

im worrying that this virtual boy is stuffing up

but…..

is it because the batteries in the virtual boy are going flat? – a flashing battery icon with half of the inside coloured red, flashing i noticed, it has only happend when this was flashing..

does that icon also mean the batteries are going flat?

i havnt tested yet with new batteries wether they were just going flat or its doing a bit of glitchyness, if it continues is it recomended to do one of the methods you have listed before it gets worse?
