cool! will try to bid on both of them for donor carts. 🙂

alright! 🙂

btw, the next batch will be out in october or november.

It’s exactly the same game, only the cartridge sticker is different:

Wario Land demo carts are pretty rare, I’ve been looking for one for very long. I’d guess $100+. 😎

Thanks, but it’s all under Hardware > Virtual Boy > Images already. 😀

out of curiosity does anyone know how well space squash sold when it was released? do you know KR155E?

I’d like to know that as well, but unfortunaltey, there are no sales figures available.

FIFTEEN bucks? WTF? :O

Nice one, thanks! Will add it to the site when I have time. 🙂

Very nice! When I had a DS, I never got around to finishing all 10 levels to unlock the VB. Congrats to your wife! 😀
I added the photos to the miscellaneous section, thanks! 🙂

The problem was, you confused the Username and Email fields and tried to enter your email into the Username field. I heard this from other users as well.
I guess the problem is that people expect the Username field first, and then the Email field, which is not the case with the Xoops registration form. Too bad that it’s not skinnable. I need to find a way to hack the table width, so the fields are not that far away from their labels…

Like DogP said, no. Just use the method he first described: let a counter run in the background, increment it every CPU cycle and use its current value (or a value derived from it) as random number. I did the same in my games, works good enough. 😉

Right, infinity-mirror. http://www.vr32.de/modules/advertising/?m02 🙂

i need to check if the nester’s funky bowling rom i have works on a flashboy and maybe replace it with a working one.

newer flashboys come with standard sized cds, they fit perfectly in vb boxes.

there’s a flashboy forum for posts about flashboy, btw… so… moved.

Hey Pat, I have a few hundred MBs free (will be a few gigs after i upgraded my account in August), so if you need fast, credible and free webspace, I’d be glad to host Project:VB. 🙂
PM me if you’re interested.

Sound is not an easy task. Some people have gotten sound to work in their homebrews, but noone released any code yet. Better finish the game first, release it without sound, and create a version 1.1 if you ever get sound working.

The loader version that’s on your CD should be the right one. But if that’s not working, make sure to try out every version of the loader with a ROM that definitely works on hardware (VUE Snake for example). Use the supplied cable. If that’s not working, repeat with another cable. then repeat on another USB port and so on.

Also, you’re not using an USB hub, right?

We test every FlashBoy intensively before they get send out and I guess it’s unlikely that it got damaged during the transport, but if you can’t get it to work eventually, we offer free repair service, just contact Richard (“Minestorm”).

OK, for some reason I did not get replies from many people, so I have a few units left. PM me if interested!

EDIT: Batch 6 is sold out! Batch 7 tba.

You can tell by the serial, does it start with “VN”? If so, it’s from North America. If it only starts with “V”, then it’s from Japan.

If the serial is missing, look for the repait service sticker on the front, under the eyeshade. English text and phone number? NA. Japanese text? Obvious. 🙂

If both stickers are missing, look for the PlayLink port. Is it labeled “PLAYLINK” (Japan) or simply “EXT.” (NA)?

Batch 6 is completed and shipping to people with pre-orders. If some people back out, the remaining FlashBoys will be freely available here. First come, first serve.

Can anyone find the VB display? 😀
