i found the game to be pretty easy. it isn’t the best tennis game out there, it is flawed, and stripped down to the basic mechanics. once you learn to direct the ball a bit it isn’t all that challenging to out play the cpu characters.
i only really notice the depth when fixating on the background. i think the drawn lines confuse our brains because they clearly are forcing a fake depth, something we are so used to seeing in 2d sports games.
i always test the depth and 3d effect by closing one eye to see what it looks like when flat. then i open both and get a greater sense of what the game was trying to accomplish.
Are you asking about Flash Kits or multi-carts? Flash Kits would allow you to flash ROMs for use on hardware. Most modern kits support microSD cards and have loaders that will let you store an entire library on 1 cart. Multi-carts are like the 60-in-1 Chinese pirate carts. I have one for the NES which has 72 NES games on it, but there is no way to add my own games, homebrew, translations, etc.
If you want Flash Kits then just PM me what systems you have and I will link you to a bunch of kits. But, if you don’t like the price of the Everdrive then you probably won’t like any of the prices. Most “retro” Flash Kits are priced between $90 – $140 USD.

One is the original Faceball prototype that was found with 1 set of levels and not all the music available, the remastered one is a more finished version including the full 4 sets of levels and all the games original music
i have a numbered flashboy in a box and a flashboy+ in a box. both are in dremeled vb game cases with fb stickers. i also have one of the original red printed 3d cases, that i am currently not utilizing. if you are collecting, then their are other variants you will want to track down.
does the new 3d printed case click together or is it glued?
if you are a gamer and not a collector, you can fit the VB games into sega game gear cases. they fit sideways, so the case opens like a book. i had to take a dremel to the plastic that holds the cart in to get a few of the cases to close just right. it was a fun project. i still want to add custom box art stickers to them one of these days.
word of advice, not all game gear cases work. some i had were a tad snug and not usable.
LOL. i really need to see a photo of this. i have a red 3d printed case that i traded for. perhaps he was out of red filament and only had pink? but it sounds like you may have a 1-off.

i was a gold level top-rated power seller for a few years. i cleared over 10k in a month for the shop i was working for. i had 100% positive feedback. during that adventure i had to deal with a few annoying buyers. one thing that ebay put into place with the ratings system was an ability to block your ability to make listings. you should read into the current feedback and ratings policy before you go forward with this sale. it is entirely possible, though i do not know for certain, that poor ratings can still impact your ability to conduct business.
as a seller you can fight feedbacks, and the higher ranked you are the more you can get accomplished. one thing you should do is contact the buyer and make sure they know the fine print. make sure they reply back stating that they understand what they are buying, what the details of the auction are, what the estimated shipment time may be, and that they may have to pay import taxes on their end. having a reply where the buyer agrees to these things will protect you when dealing with ebay and paypal’s customer support.
my advice, don’t bother selling to him. greed is forcing your hand and it may be taking you in a negative direction. those few extra bucks are nice, but unless you feel you are not getting what the item is worth, i would move on.
from what i have seen, the games being reproduced are on flashboy boards. so what you are buying is a stripped down flashboy. it will allow you to play the game, prototype, hack, translation, homebrew, etc, on actual hardware, but you can not reflash it with a new rom.
all of the things being reproduced are available for download. you should be able to find stuff under the games tab. if you wanted to play bound high, for example, navigate to games > unreleased > bound high! > downloads. if you are interested in translations, it is just a matter of applying the patch to the rom.
if you purchase a flashboy, you can “flash” 1 rom at a time and enjoy it on actual hardware. everything released will work on the flashboy. roms will need to be padded from their smaller size into a 2mb file. there is a windows-based tool available to do this. the flashing application is also windows-based. after you purchase a flashboy we can better instruct you on what you need to do.

Wake up tomorrow and call your local Post office. That is a federal offense that they take very seriously. You should also contact your local police station and report your mail as stolen, once you verify the post office did indeed deliver the package.
If you can’t trust the people in your building then you may want to consider getting a PO Box. You can also contact your local Post office and ask if you can make an appointment to meet with the manager. Some managers are really cool and will hold packages there for you without a PO Box. I found the USPS system is all about networking and who you know. I always go out of my way to make friends with the delivery guy on my route, know who the subs are, and meet a few people who work at the local branch. It helps with it comes time for sending/receiving, or just getting something handled without all the red tape.
i’ve found that people who complain usually have no understanding of what makes a great game.
for me the enjoyment comes from being able to have fun. i can pump 10 bucks into an original asteroids machine and have a blast. what i love about asteroids are the complex controls that take time to master, the simplicity of play, and the overall challenge. i see the game for more than just a few lines and singular sound. i feel that those who rate the VB poorly can’t understand the fun that is found in simplicity. The most basic of games (pong) can be amazingly fun if you simply have the right mind set. i would never talk down about a video game system, regardless of how much of a failure it was. in fact, the more obscure it is, makes me want to experience its games that much more. both complex and simple games can entertain, i’m sad for those who aren’t capable of experiencing both.
i know a lot of people who talk down about the vb, and every one of them has never experienced it. the complaints i hear are the same things i’ve read a 100 times myself. i get upset when people regurgitate what they have read and make it their own opinion. reading is not experiencing. i’ve found the vb to be incredibly fun, with great pick-up-and-play games. i’ve never had an issue dialing it in and gaming on it for hours, no back pains, eye strain, etc. i may not want to go back and experience its library as often as my NES or Genesis, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t have some really fun games.
