Been following this on and off since the beginning. What an amazingly dedicated project! I’m super down for this as well.
Email sent!

Just want to chime in that this looks astoundingly polished! I’m more than game for a CIB copy if possible when the time comes.

Extremely interested in this one!

Snagged one this time as well, thank you!

Well I have no new games in mind. Just wanted an update on the matter and if the planned list of new games have been worked through at the moment then that’s as good as anything. Dragon Hopper would be a grail of sorts. I’ll keep dreaming for the ROM to surface. 🙂

Additionally, I don’t know how much insight you have in the code or if you’re working more graphically, but you don’t happen to have any info on the requirements for cathing all the fishes in Virtual Fishing (or if some are glitched)? I’ve managed to complete every single VB-game except for that one, fishing for hours and in many different ways, but the game still only cycles between the same few fishes, with many of them never even being seen no matter what I do. I can’t seem to find any info on the matter either. It’s such a stale game indeed, but this has always bugged me.

Sorry for bringing an old thread back from the dead, but I find it appropriate to continue the discussion here, unless the main discussion has moved elsewhere.

Simply put, I’m curious about the current repro situation. Just as a disclaimer, this is in no way criticism or impatience of any kind. I vastly appreciate the effort put behind every release regardless of it happening once a few years or not at all anymore.

I’ve heard something about a coming end of raw materials, which is sadly understandable. Are there any plans on future repro releases or has it come to an indefinite halt after Fishbone?

I check the front page and Tusk’s shop regularly as a preventive measure from missing out on any eventual announcements being made elsewhere. Every new release helps breathing new life into this system and as a gamer/collector nothing is more exciting than a physical homebrew/prototype/unreleased game for this system. Personally I find no interest in the translation repros, but the initiative is golden either way.

That’s it I think. Partly appreciation, partly curiousness about the state of the repro situation.

Even though I seldom post, I’m profoundly grateful for this community, so keep it awesome.

Grabbed it this time! Thank you once again for another high quality release!

Drats! I missed this batch as well, as I relied on bigmaks “Reproduction talk”-thread for the latest information.

I want this so badly for my collection and out of gameplay curiosity. I take it that you post in this thread when there’s a second wave? Thank you for considering a re-stock! ^___^

As a collector owning and having played through all 22 official releases, this neo-authentic reproduction trend hits me right in the spending spot. I’ll gladly shell out $80 + European shipping for a new CIB game ever so often; especially with the work of this wonderful community in mind. It’s an excellent way of breathing rejuvenated life into this odd, lovable console.

On behalf of my wallet, I also thank you for spreading out the releases. 😉

My favorite kind of releases by far are the reprods of previously unreleased games/prototypes. I feel like I’m a member of some super exclusive chosen few who actually get to play these games on a real cart, from a real box, on a real console. Aside from the original promo carts, it’s as official as it will ever get. For obvious reasons these games are scarce in numbers. I can’t wait for the day when Dragon Hopper finally shows up.

Secondly I like the homebrew ones. It’s a pleasant nod to the talented and committed community. The translations are the only releases that I don’t buy, since I consider owning the original games to be enough for me. An exception would be a text heavy game like an RPG. I’ll let people who value these releases more than I claim their copies. :3

Bound high is my most treasured release so far. As if being an unreleased, finished product wasn’t enough, it’s also one of the console’s holy grails of gaming goodness. I played it through completely, almost having a mental breakdown over the deviously difficult expert mode. The game immediately secured its place amongst my top three.

I’m once again immensly grateful for all the time and effort put into this. I’ll always be excited for new releases and I hope that you will continue to feel the same. <3

My prototype cart arrived the other day! I tip my hat off to this kind gesture and I’ll be sure to continue to support you guys in the future! <3

Can't wait for Remastered! 😀

Wonderful! The repro future sure looks bright. ^____^

Thank you for all the hours that you guys are putting into this. Patience isn’t an issue for me and it shouldn’t be for anyone else since this originates from your own devotion in your own spare time. I’m fairly sure that I speak for everyone when I say that we really appreciate the work that you accomplish.

Also, Bound High and Space Pinball arrived the other day. Excellent packaging as expected! I feel perfectly safe with that kind of care. :3

Lastly, does the FB prototype paperwork include a cardboard inner tray?

Awww, then I barely missed the shipment. I’ll wait eagerly for the next one. I assume that you will announce it here in the thread as well? :3

Strange…everything worked just fine for me this time.

Beautiful! I’m nabbing one of these lovelies. <3

Also, are you supposed to get an order confirmation somehow when ordering from the website? My order of Bound High and Space Pinball haven't arrived yet after roughly a month and since I didn't get a confirmation of my order neither on the site or in my mail I'm starting to feel a little anxious. I'm used to shipment from the US to Sweden taking time though, so I guess I'll wait this one out a bit longer.

In any case, wonderful work as usual!

Awesome! Here I thought I would never have to spend any money on a VB game ever again.

I recently finished my playthrough of all 22 games and tucked my console away deep in a storage hyper sleep. Guess I have to bring it back up again…

Thank you guys so much for making this happen! <3
See you again when Dragon Hopper shows up. ;D

Ordered! 😀 (Hmm, didn't get an order confirmation. Shows up in due time I hope.)

Did anyone find an answer to this?

Thanks a lot! Any help would be great, as I’ve never ever heard about someone who have all the fishes. 😀

If it really is luck based, the spawn probability for the rest of the whole library is ridiculous. 🙁
