Not that much of a stretch. There is a LOT of different Mario game references in it from the Mario Kart level, to the music at the slot machine from Super Mario Bros 2 or Doki Doki Panic. I’m sure developers have played Virtual Boy games, how couldn’t they have, especially if they work for Nintendo. If they say they haven’t, they’re lying, “cough”(Reggie}

WOW! People got some nerve! Even the scuff marks on the wood flooring are exactly the same! The plot begins to thicken! Still gonna watch to see how this drama plays out! Glad I’m not caught up in it! Those poor bidders!

Got mine Friday morning! PM’ed a thank you. Sent!

I’m watching it to see how high it goes. It looks real to me too Ben, I think your right. Of course people online are complaining its fake, they wish it was them owning it. It looks very aged to me, of course I could be wrong but looks legit!

I see mine with the Duck Tape, ha! Thanks!

Its Devil’s Advocate time! I wanna go on record and say I believe the asking price is way too high. That being said.

If someone puts something on ebay Virtual boy related. Like these glasses, for $40, $90 or even $999 and some dumb dumb is willing to pay because they don’t wanna wait for a pair to show up at $15. {While, I agree its sad that their impatient and wasting their money} Why is it an issue?

If no one wants to spend the money, it will just sit on Ebay forever, not being sold while other ones at lower prices will eventually appear & sell. If people don’t want it, they don’t have to buy it and the seller asking the high price will just sit there not profiting.

If he does profit, OK, he got what he asked for. It’s not like these people can’t google or use a computer to find out what these things are worth.

If I wanna sell a box of dog crap for $50 and some dummy will pay me $40 for it, {While a questionable act to do to someone} Isn’t that why Ebay is there? To sell a box of junk to whomever for whatever price they’ll pay?

Ben is right BTW, most of the issue #75 Nintendo Power Magazine’s on Ebay come with the glasses already in them, that’s how I got mine, ha!

This is the first time when I see a fool:

I appreciate you calling me a fool. Apparently you’re new to the Internet? I put the BIN at such a ridiculous price to attract attention. I have no intention of selling this for such a high price hence the “Best Offer”. I paid about $15 for the glasses and wasn’t sure what they were worth since it’s been awhile. You never can be too careful as I bought a copy of Wario Land back in 2008 for $5 and got a complete copy of jack Bros. with it for slow shipping on the sellers part. That turned out to be a $200 profit for me and I had no idea what it was worth either.

Hmmmm. I hear crickets. This is funny to me. I’m waiting for more verbal altercations, quite enjoyable! Please commence.

Cool List! Back in November I sold my Insmouse cart & booklet, no box, for $135 auction style. I was surprised the auction went that high, and the guy paid right away. People have been willing to pay out more for it lately if they really want it.

I seen these glasses go for around $90 a few months back, without the book!

Somebody took care of it, there gone now, thank god.

WOW! I agree that is a risky move to start it at at 99 cents! I am highly confident it will bid up to ridiculous heights. I will be watching not bidding but watching. American seller no less! Good eye Ben!

PM Sent! Your AWESOME! THANKS!

So Sorry! I have in the past sold off bit and pieces of my collection as well, it does hurt but I was ok with it. I kept the things I had fun playing the most. Collecting just to look at something that is rare is great. But the chase, to me is more fun. Trying to buy back or locate things I once had can be a bummer. But I like it better than when I had it ALL! Nothing left to hunt for if you have it all! Besides you know how it feels to have all the Virtual boy stuff I assume? You are one of the few in the world, You can never sell your love for the system and that’s whats important! Keep the things you have fun playing the most and sell the ones thats you can do without. With me, I like the VB fishing game, I owned it for years but after a while fishing bores me. I Had to keep Space Sqaush because its fun to me. Do what you feel is right!

Well said Ben.

Seems to be taken down, that guy is a jerk off!

I just wanna say, I am confident you could too. That is all.

I actually have worked at toys r us for 16 years. I remember when my store marked those down to $24.99. They put them in a red bin on the floor to get rid of them. Toys r us puts video game stuff under lock and key, but not Virtual boy. I should have bought them all back then, who knew?
