I think I know what to do with my spare Mario Tennis now =P

Same here!

1. Virtual Boy Wario Land
2. Red Alarm
3. Teleroboxer
4. Jack Bros.
5. Bound High!
6. HyperFighter Demo
7. Mario Tennis
8. Galactic Pinball
9. Vertical Force
10. V-Tetris

Keep me in mind for when this awesome project is done! This is coming along so nicely. The rubber stripping made a big difference look wise and I can only imagine comfort wise too.

Another North American Happy Birthday!

Last game was Teleroboxer. Such a fun game! I wish they had a 2 player version for it with a cable 🙁

Happy North American birthday Virtual Boy!!! <3

Red Alarm was the last title I played. I played Teleroboxer that same day since I picked them up together. Both fun titles!

Thanks for the feedback guys! The site is free to feature/use it if they choose to. I have no platform to post it on other than here.

U looking for the gel cast or the epoxy resin I use to cast the part ?

Both. A dude is going to do the casting but he doesn’t know what to use for either part. I was going to buy it for him in exchange for a cast.

This celebration today is the Japanese release. US wasn’t until Aug 14th if I’m not mistaken.

What casting set do you use? I’m looking for one to cast a set of doors for my NES TV. This looks like great stuff.

Happy Birthday to one of my favorite and most underrated consoles, Virtual Boy!

That would be a lot of fun. I have to see what day my husband was planning on going since one day is his bday.

Mine has grown ever so slightly. I picked up Teleroboxer and Red Alarm for $15 from the local Retro Game shop

Totally late to the party here but I would love to see a head strap. One similar to the Oculus would even work. I believe the VB only weighs a little more than my Oculus DK2 and it’s not too bad on the head/neck as long as you don’t play hours at a time.

As long as I’ve been a member it’s been this way with all browsers. I just use a 1password thing and it logs me in.

Like everyone before me has stated, it depends on the game and how interesting I find it. I would still donate if it was something I wasn’t too interested in since I love the console and community. I would try to donate $100 but my budget might be tight so at least I would do $50.

is that some type of overlay or did you mod the 3ds?

Sorry for the late response. The flu has been kicking my ass the past couple days. This is a vinyl overlay I found on etsy.

Oh man, I cant stand it. Makes me cringe when I see the prices they are asking for the crappy rattle can jobs. Not saying you cant do a nice one with a spray can, but it is definitely rare. What really gets me is when they throw some homemade stickers on it and clear coat over it. lol. I really wanna do a custom virtual boy, but I am really pleased with the way they already look. If anything I wouldn’t mind messing with the viewing lens(by making new ones) or changing LED color (which looks like a total pain in the arse).

*giggles* My Virtual Girl was actually a rattle can job by hand believe it or not. I took several days sanding, coating, drying, evening out, etc. (Daughter of a former custom car painter). I would have loved to change the lens color and LEDS like you but like you said, seems damn near impossible. Love the work on your consoles!

What turned out being the case was the secondary ribbon cable to the top LCD was damaged. It connects with the L button and is right next to the connectors for the ribbon cables that go to the top screen. Pressing the L button is probably causing the cables to move ever so slightly to cause the intermittent connection to break momentarily.

I wound up buying a new ribbon and am waiting on it to be delivered this week. I’m hoping this is the fix. I hate the damn 2DS
