Cool info. Now I’m going to have to reset a couple dozen times so I can get a strike by hitting only the edge pin. 😛

Dammit. I had bid $300.00. Argh.
Oh well. Let’s just hope/pretend the high bidder bid an insane amount at the end. $306 is such a killer, I paid more than that for my lowly platform display.

[Well, this picture is no news either, but now you have more to talk about than an hour ago 😛 It’s just two versions of the same thing, made by two artists of the Virtual Boy 😉
Who made the PCB on the right? I hope one day someone can produce homebrew PCBs with the pin-out (pin-in) intact.

Just keepin’ the dream alive. 😛
lots of gamebit scams on ebay. Have to look for the sellers that state they ground it down to fit VB.
Maybe one of these other 2 is DH. I don’t have the time for this internet drama. 😛 😉
None of this is news.
Still anticipating this cable, DogP. 🙂

If the BH proto ever did turn up, I would imagine it would be on of those long EPROM carts.
BH was shown at spaceworld, correct. So it does exist in physical cartridge form unless the data was running off of a Model One prototype console like KR155E’s.
I misread your post and thought you said DH.

How many other people have DH?? 😕 🙁 😐 😉
I’m kidding….ignore this post…

.. Wait a tic.. it sold for $306? I am posting this fro a hospitak bed so i cant check ebay. I had bid $400 before i went into the hostpital, but that was 4 days ago – no way I could snipe the bid.I wonder what hapened
Wow, what a bummer. Guess your bid didn’t go through, I was high bidder for $301.01 for days before the auction ended and only one person sniped at the end.
I hope you’re feeling well or get well soon.
I was outbid on the floor display with 12 seconds left, is the lucky winner a user here? I would have bid again, but as I said I wasn’t exactly looking forward to the shipping headache. Anyway, this thing ended for a fantastic price IMO.

Funny you say that. I have worked at Toys R us for the last 15 years! I remember those display’s being there too! Check this out, about 1999 they had me clean a room out and there were virtual boy laser disc promo disc’s, for the hit the button watch the Nintendo promo kiosk. This was pre DVD for me, and I had no idea what a laser disc was. I could of had em! A few years ago some of those disc’s sold for over $1000. I would not have sold them but ohhh if they could be in my collection today :{! Plus I remember Virtual boy’s selling for $24.98 in the clearance bin! If I only knew then what I know now! BTW, some of those kiosk promos are on youtube.
Awesome, I remember those push-button video kiosks. Don’t beat yourself up over the laserdiscs, hindsight is always 20/20. Most of us have quite a few stories about the “ones” that got away.

Good luck on winning that display stand! I’m not bidding at all, so I hope someone from here wins it! Might as well be you! Hopefully it won’t go much higher in price for you. I’ll be watching out of pure interest. Let us know if you win.
I bid due to the price and opportunity. I hope someone else here wins it since I just spent a good hunk of cash on KR155E’s prototype USA Pre-Production console, but I simply couldn’t pass up bidding on a complete Floor Model Display at this price. I have fond memories of playing Red Alarm on one of these puppies at my local Toys R Us as a kid. 🙂

Some times i think that i can better life in the usa lolI whas trying to contact the seller bud he cant answer on questions.
damn nice item just like the VB Stand still a must have for mee.
I’m high bidder on both auctions, but will probably not bid again on the display again if I get outbid just to avoid the shipping headache.
For other USA bidders, you can always go to the website Uship.com and get shipping quotes from independent drivers that bid against each other for the cheapest shipping cost on these pesky “Local pickup only” auctions. If I win the auction, that’s the route I’ll go.

Cool link, thanks Ben.
I have my own website, listed in my profile as is norm for this sort of thing. How are you making money on your planned 50+ websites? I think submitting each one manually to search engines or posting just a single link on a relevant website may be your best option for traffic.
It sounds like a controller prob to me. Anyway, that is a rare unit you have on your hands, why not sell it if you’re not much into VB?

Figured I would edit this post out of good taste, but see that the feature is now gone(or at least gone within the hour of said post). If that’s the new format, cool. Should plan my posts out better. >:(
Anyway, good VB’ing all of you. 😛

http://cgi.ebay.com/Nintendo-Virtual-Boy-System-w-Travel-Master-Hard-Case-/330572468953?pt=Video_Games&hash=item4cf7a792d9Virtual Boy with a hard case… not a blockbuster one! its one of the harder to find Travel Master cases!
The Travel master case is very rare. Through lots of research, the Travel Master made by the company “Southern Case” was a generic Camera case. I believe they sold these cases to smaller mom & pop rental shops for the purpose of VB. You can find this IDENTICAL case in the camera section of ebay sometimes minus the blockbuster VB molded foam and usually originates from Canada.
The travelmaster camera/vb case is harder to find than the Blockbuster VB case in any form, so still a rad auction. Good eye, GYF!
If you found the Travel Master that’s the same as the one for VB, and bought a blockbuster case and swapped the foam, you’d still be quite a few hundred dollars deep.
