Question on this program, is it needed for the Hyperflasher to work/load anything? Otherwise when Kevin sent me the email that my cart is in the mail and will be here shortly, I am prepping my micro SD card beforehand and in his email it mentioned what to do: Flash to FAT32 and then download a file from a dropbox then unzip and copy the folders to the SD card main screen.

On this GUI when downloading the zip, WHERE do I put it on the SD card as I have the BWR version coming, is it needed for me to get things to work or should just dropping roms into the ROM folder that I downloaded from his dropbox sufficient. Or is this what creates a user menu to access things? Also I noticed your list of thins this does mentioned padding, all of my roms have previously been padded for the Flashboy + tho I assume none of the labels will match up if they arent the same as the ones in the label folder (therefore I’d have to remove “pas” from every rom in the folder correct?

Hey no genre can be “crowded” in the VB world, we need more and more games to play regardless of what category they fall into! I’ll keep a watch out for the demo release to try this out!

When people talk about getting an email and being able to preorder, how was this notification created? I’m pretty fluent in the site and didn’t know you could preorder or somehow get on the initial list. Do you have to download the “discord” app to put your info in to get on the list?

Also what is the price of the Hyperflash32 vs the Multiboy32?

This is one of my favorites and this is excellent. I am so bad at this game tho!

Awesome! Shared to my local group’s page. Im probably 1 of 2 VB fans in the Denver area it seems.

Sweet that works for the cover portion if using a template. I was just downloading the premade inserts, seems most of the Japanese ones have a translation but Innsmouth doesn’t. This is the one in that folder so the front, sides, and back all need a redo.

Definitely sad to hear. That’s one of the better Japanese games that needs a good cover. Ah well!

there is the 4mb raw but still wont flash to a flashboy unfortunately, but plays on my Android phone in retroarch. Just not in 3D!!!

I need to rehash this one. Does anyone have an English translated Innsmouth cover? The Japanese one is the one one I could find.

Is there actually a rom for this game on the vb? I have never found one

Hey Levine91 do you happen to have an English translated version of the Innsmouth mansion cover? All I could find is the Japanese cover on your link and nowhere else online for one!

This is awesome! Now I just need the English Translated cover for it to put into a case!

The post above is 100% correct. The repro does not have ATLUS logo, the Nintendo Seal logo, or the code # for the game, and the rating and Virtual Boy log are also different.

There are repros of Jack bros. made by Mellot, check out his page its online just search Mellot’s VR and you can see the pics of all the games he makes and what the logo looks like for Jack Bros and other games. He sells them for $75 + shipping so its about $82 shipped for a repro of a game.

In all honesty, aside from the logo on the outside the game is exactly the same, unless you are a total completionist and really care about the specific sticker on it, the repro is just as good, especially for the price, considering a loose Jack Bros. is at an absolute bare minimum $200+ if you can even find it that cheap, but more like $250+ these days with prices rising everytime one is posted.

I figure this has to do with that post that more copies were available. At $90+ the game should be pretty dang good!

in other words, price check: astronomical!

That is awesome that you had a red case. I wished I could find them but it wasn’t possible. But still black is fine for me. As for the cutting, I used scissors and that’s how I was able to get it to look so smooth. I bent the foam and made a slit in the middle then cut to the edge and then followed the stencil I drew on the foam in pen. Made a little slit at the top for using your finger to pull the game out too.

This is amazing! I had the patched one that still had the Japanese title screen and some other Japanese things in the game. This looks amazing with the full translation!

I know someone posted the translated instructions somewhere too, so I need to get that since I have no clue how to pull the damn fish back once it bites!

Heck yeah! Downloaded to try it out!

Making the cases wasn’t all too hard. Granted the red ones are not possible to find currently, but black ones look great still on the shelf. You can take an exacto knife and cut out the holders on the inside and then I bought thin foam sheets at Target and made a stencil and cut them to fit and then put a piece of solid foam at the back to cover the holes inside so you can;t see through to the holes in the plastic at the back.

In all honesty if just putting them up on a shelf they dont need to be super fancy or expensive. They hold the games just fine for me!

Here is what the end product looked like and and I have some with different colored foam inside as the pack I bought at Target was in rainbow colors. But again these are sitting on a shelf and no one can see the inside but me so I could care less if some of them are purple or pink instead of red on the inside.

I think I have a Bound High rom already, but if this is the “bestest” version then I probably don’t have this one!
