Hydlide (NES)
Hard as all living hell, no clue where or what to do, and it rips off the Indiana Jones theme. Oh yeah and attacking, what a joke.

That’s a really cool story. You must feel really happy getting one after so many years. Mine’s sorta lame but, when I first discovered the VB (I can’t remember where, maybe AVGN) I wanted one because it such an odd system. I searched on Amazon and saw how much they were and how little came with the system.

Around Valentines Day 2012 my dad came and picked me up from school and told me he found something. He pulled out of the bag the Virtual Boy (head set, stand, controller, battery pack,VB Wario Land) and I nearly shit my pants. He got it for $20.

When I got home I tested it and found out the left eye didn’t work at all. Even with that set back I was still really happy. While cruising my local flea market I found another one this one had the visor and 3 games. After some haggling I got it for $40. Now I had a complete working one and everything was great. 🙂

I need a VB t-shirt.

I had “Startropics” in the box for a while and I finally gave it a chance and I liked it.

what up newb?

Looks like a good stand for the system. The original one can’t support the weight of the head set well.

Added consoles: 3DO Interactive Multiplayer (preferably “Panasonic FZ-1 R.E.A.L. 3DO Interactive Multiplayer”) & Atari 5200.

It sucks that you can’t port other console games onto the VB.

Deadly Towers (NES)
Nightmare-ish music, terrible play control, impossible difficulty, stay away from this game.

Milon’s Secret Castle (NES)
Way too difficult and play control needs improvement.

The Dreamcast should have been the biggest system in the world, yet it faded away and lost to it’s competitors. 🙁

My two favorite games are “Sonic Adventures” and of course “Jet Grind Radio”.

1. Nintendo Entertainment System
2. Super Nintendo Entertainment System
3. Nintendo 64
4. Gameboy (the original one)
5. Virtual Boy

I’ve never even seen a Lynx in person.

Cool button.

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, Blades of Steel, Super Breakout & Tetris Attack.

I feel like such a newb, your guys’ collection are so much nicer than mine. 🙁

Anyways, I keep all mine in a shoe box. Going hella fancy right there!

My VB is going downhill fast… first lines on one eye. Then lines on the other eye. Then the right eye having stronger light at times. Then the right eye going “mirror mode” with itself… freaky stuff. I can’t fix it myself… guess I’ll have to find another one 🙁

I just bought a screw driver to fix one and the screw driver won’y fit down the last 4 holes to open the system up. There’s a way to make you’re own with a pen but the pen better be REALLY strong to act like a screw driver.
