I am verry happy whit this hat

Out of the 6 Virtual Boy sport caps that are made known on this site, I would have to say that the red/black cap is, indeed, the nicest of them all.

if your selling the purple hat, let me know! 🙂

I usually only sell a VB item if I happen to get another item of the same kind that is of better quality. This purple hat is about as new as they come, so I don’t think I will ever have to upgrade it.

I actually like the Japanese boxes better. BUT..I guess that wound’t make and sense cuz it will be in English 😛 doh

Plus, the closer the box looks to the original Japanese version, the more likely it might get confused with the original Japanese box, especially if one is simply looking at the front of the box. But if it follows the North American format, there should definitely be no confusion.

(50) gundam: english translation

I’m guessing that nobody else has declared that they can make an instruction booklet for this. Since I imagine that the box and cart sticker are going to appear in the typical style of the North American Virtual Boy games, I can remake the instruction booklet that I previously made for SD Gundam and have it appear in the North American Virtual Boy Instruction Booklet format, if no one else has any better ideas.

I took apart my EPROM cartridges, which I mentioned in Post #37 of this thread, and made high resolution scans of both sides of the PCB as well as the shell pieces for each.

Thanks for that. I was assuming that they were all for Virtual Boy.

… your long running series of Advanced Nonsense Simulators…

Well, I have searched the News Archive, all the Homebrew titles, all of HorvatM’s forum topics in which he posted, and I cannot figure out what any of the other simulators are, which you are referring to. Help, someone?

That game really is neat, but I seriously felt like throwing up after making it to the second level.

Anybody now the last eBay price for a Virtual Boy Prototype Cartridge:question:

Begin reading here:

for discussion on the most recent prototype VB cartridge that was listed on Ebay.

The seller originally tried to sell a Japanese Panic Bomber prototype cartridge on Ebay for 999 Euros. I don’t know if he ever managed to sell it or what the selling price was.

-Performance Case CIB (getting a new case, Need box and that one cardboard piece + bag with the box)

I am the seller on Ebay who is currently attempting to sell the CIB Performance Soft Case. Since the lowest Ebay offer that I am accepting is $150.00, shipped anywhere to the USA for free, I would be willing to sell it to you for $135.00 via a direct PayPal transaction, if the item does not sell on Ebay this time around, since that would let me avoid Ebay selling fees.

FYI: There is a severe drought on CIB soft cases these days. At the most, two might pop up for sale online per year. I have yet to see one with a near mint box.

No doubt the game’s in good condition, but Virtual Bowling it ain’t. $1,500 is ridiculous.

The thing one always must keep in mind with listings that include a “Best Offer” option, though, is that the seller himself might think that the listed price is ridiculous and that nobody will ever click the “Buy It Now” button, so he simply wants to hear out offers. Some sellers want an offer pretty close to their listed price, but others are willing to accept much, much less.

ectoglow wrote:
are you sre the bit is long enough? I think I got the same one and it was JUST to short for the deeper screws.

Well, the thing is, it is just the bit, so it all depends on the bit-holder that you attach it to. When I used it with my bit-holder, I managed to get all screws out just fine.

… sending tools and a CD, Thats just the wrongest message you could send with a system.

That’s like sending a a Vetrex out with earplugs.

Lol. Yeah, I know what you mean. It does send the message of “this system will most likely not work when you get it,” but unfortunately, that is too often the truth when it comes to a Virtual Boy being sold these days.

The tool and CD were actually a selling point for me, though. At the time I bought from him, my Virtual Boy system had just started getting the glitchy display problem, so I wanted to get another system as a backup, in case I ruined my current system, but I also wanted a complete in box system to make my Virtual Boy collection more complete. When I saw that his CIB system even included a tool bit that I would need to begin trying to do repair work on the first Virtual Boy system that I ever got, I just could not pass it up.
