Ok, so i need a 220V -> 110V stepdown converter or a Japanese tap + a french 9V DC adapter if i understand it all ?

That’s correct. Those are the options.

It’s hard to say without knowing exactly what files you are trying to include. Maybe they are too large and contain too much data? The VB only has 64 KB of ram you know…

Hi Craby

Sorry, none of those will work, for two reasons:

-They output 9V AC instead of 9V DC
-The plugs won’t fit anyway, because the US plug is different

Well, there was Yoshi’s Safari on snes, where you play as Mario riding on Yoshi’s back in first person shooting stuff with the super scope bazooka 🙂

You have to make it all in software. There is no hardware accelerated polygon functions of any kind.

That is, you have to make your own routines for scaling and rotating matrices and vertices, projecting them into screen space, and finally rasterize your polygons to the screens pixel by pixel…

Or you could wait until the end of the coding competition, and maybe there will be some code examples released by then? 😉

I am so confused, first the Volt its to high, then to low, then DanB shows me some weird shit I need with my ac adapter

All i want is the cheapest way here in Sweden to play my vb with no batteries and without having to be a electrician to do it

lol. just buy the stepdown I listed above and:

USA Adaptor tap / USA snes power adapter

or

Japanese adaptor Tap + HVC-002 model Super Famicom power adaptor

It’s just that it is so unnecessary to go from 230V via stepdown to 110V and then to 9V, when you can just go from 230V to 9V directly…

Tja akumie.

Det DogP menar är att du inte behöver bry dig om nån konvertering mellan 110V/230V alls om du köper den här:

och typ en sån här:

I think it is definitely a good idea to keep the sub and other things smaller when in the background. It makes it alot easier to see, and that is how all the commercial games do it (wario land, vertical force etc.)

This last build is a step back, in my opinion.

I’d probably pay a few hundred for a real prototype, just because what it is… but I don’t think the design is very good to actual use, so I probably wouldn’t buy a reproduction.

Yeah, same here. It looks pretty useless. I mean, it’s basically the normal stand, except you can also lower it. But when would you want to play with the head unit just inches above the table? o_O

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

The correct way is like how it’s shown in the manual, with the legs pointing away from you.

It doesn’t really matter though, and the opposite way can even be easier to attach (probably why it is like that in many photos).

Cool, can’t wait to see what you end up doing with it 😉

Back in the day? Bound High was released like only 4 months ago 😛

Heh, yeah, I get that too sometimes here in Sweden. Sometimes when ordering from the U.S (I think when the value is more than $50 or something), and always with stuff from Japan when they ship by EMS… I recently had to pay around €10 tax for a pokemon mini system 🙁

That looks awesome, DogP! Call me envious 😀

Golfers are scary? 😛

Hehe, look who’s talking 😛

In swedish you say “Vörtshual Boj” 😉

(That is if what you’re asking is how one would write the pronunciation of the english words in swedish… The actual translation would be “Virtuell Pojke” :-P)

WOW, this is fantastic news! 😀
What a surprise! Great job everyone involved!

Will it be possible to read/write the sram contents through the flasher software?

Good thing you put that disclaimer at the bottom, otherwise I would have had to smack you silly 😛

You’re in good company, we all love our Virtual Boys here 🙂

Hit the “M” key before shift+enter to work around the bug.

Ah, that’s a nice feature 😉

Graphics viewer as in tile viewer?

Yeah, tile/map/world viewer (the Alt+2 function)
