Awesome looking shirt.

I have a feeling shipping might sting a bit though..

Wow, real cool!

Wow, that was quick…

Yeah my list would be in a way different order. I don’t know how Baseball got way up there =P

I didn’t know there were credits! Then again, I don’t think I’ve played tournament on the hardest difficulty yet.

Welcome to the community!

Wow, this is so awesome. I applaud you for doing this, it’s exactly the boost the Virtual Boy needed. I mean, how could it not go well, we’re at a time where there is some amazing stuff available for the Virtual Boy. All the homebrewers out there have really done outstanding stuff!

Curious though, how come one stand is inverted and the other not? Looks funky =P

Have you used the little cable that came with it? It’s always a good idea to use the original I hear.

Also try running as admin if you haven’t yet.

I emailed you about it, would I be on said list? Just making sure, cause if I’m not I’d sure like to be 😀

Glad to hear you’re still alive! Saying you let the community down is a bit harsh. You must remember we own Virtual Boys, delay is our middle name! Hell, we waited 22 years for the 2 player support that was initially promised!

Actually playing Ben online scares the crap out of me 😛

Hahaha, right??? I could only dream of becoming as good as Ben.

Glad you like it.

The cable is cat6 Ethernet cable. If you look closely at the text on the cable you’ll see it written on there.

Oh yeah, it does! I did read some of the text the other day, but I guess I only read the “Cable Matters” portion of it :p

I’m so stoked to try this bad boy out. Can’t wait for the HF cart and/or more Flashboy carts to be produced!

^^ Those cross eyed photos worked MINT for me!

Just received my cable today. Unfortunately I don’t have two flashboys or two hyper fightings yet, so I can’t test yet. The quality is nice however, and it inserts into the Virtual Boy very smoothly. No it’s not actually Nintendo quality, which should be obvious by everyones pictures, but that’s not a fair comparison anyway. For a one man homebrew project, this is a great quality cable. I do like the material chosen for the 3D printing, the texture is nice and grippy, and helps tone down the 3D printed appearance. The connectors feel nice and solid. The cable itself is definitely solid and the color choice is ideal. It has kind of an industrial style, and similar in flex to an ethernet cable.

All in all very nice job Mellott, thank you for picking up this project and finally delivering a proper Link Cable to the community. Finally, we can experience one of the key features Nintendo should have included at launch, 22 years later!

If all else fails you can put the audio back in sync with the video with a video editing program

Nice, great work! This is a very promising start 🙂

Good video, you did a great job with the footage. I find Cell phone cameras seem to be better for filming, as the smaller lens allows you to get the full picture without seeing the blurry edges of the red lenses on the VB itself. Which phone were you using? I like how it handled the refresh rate so nicely. Might give phone recording another shot now that the cameras are getting so good in them.

Awesome Patch, M.K.! Still haven’t been able to try it on real hardware, but I’m so stoked for some 2P Mario Tennis action when I get everything I need.

This is really cool. Thanks for all the hard work, Ben!

Video is really cool, but the mouse adapter catched my interest !

I’m very curious too, there’s something up his sleeve I’m sure!

Put me down for a copy as well.
