Mint-condition VB, still sealed in the original box with Mario Tennis, going for $60. I’ve seen boxed, sealed VBs fetch as high as $150, so to me, this is certainly new.

That’s an interesting concept indeed.

Although it’s amusing to say that the only thing that would look the same really would be Giygas himself… *shudders*

Was it about $20 with the game box, manual, and everything? If it was just the cartridge, even that’s not too bad, considering the game is actually technically considered “rare” since it was a US-only release. True to what was said earlier, it is possible to find it for even cheaper, but it’s not likely.

VN10376088[7], from eBay. 🙂

I think that’s even crazier. 😀

Haha, yep, there it is. Nice little cameo.

It’s at $104.50 now! 😯 I have never seen ANY VB game fetch a price that high on eBay before.

And if one has, I missed it somehow.

9-Player option on Waterworld? NINE? Sorry, Ocean, but that’s just ridiculous.

The Nerd’s dead-on correct about some of those, but in others I had to disagree. Still, I was greatly entertained. Bookmarked for great justice. 😉

That’s absolutely amazing. I really hope his talent is recognized at some point or another, it could revolutionize the next generation of gaming consoles.

I haven’t encountered the ‘lines’ issue yet, but it seems fairly common, so I’d best stay on my toes.

I didn’t even notice the change (if it -can- be noticed. ^^; ). If I may ask, what were the ranks previously?

Might I also add that (when you do get games for your system), sometimes if the cartridge isn’t inserted all the way, the VB won’t detect it and will give you said black screen. As MutePanic said, though, there -is- this faint but diagnostic “whirring” sound that you can hear if you listen closely enough, and if your vision’s exceptional, you can even see the LED mirrors start spinning if you look into the VB the right way. That’s one way to know everything’s in good working order without a game even being in the system. 😀

😀 This system is amazing! i can’t wait to get a good mario game for it! or pinball!

Galactic Pinball is really good fun. I would definitely recommend that one. 🙂

Thank you so much, I truly appreciate it. 🙂

Speaking of things we hadn’t noticed until now, I just realized my score for my NFB review says 9 out of 10. I actually meant to type 8, I guess I hit the wrong key. Is there any way to change that? I would like the score to fit the review as much as possible.

the manual is here. 😛

Thanks a bunch. There’s so many categories and subcategories here on PVB that I always forget what’s where.

Fantastic. All that’s left is Mario Tennis, that one will be coming up soon. 🙂

I actually didn’t get the VB’s official instruction booklet with it, since I bought it on eBay from a previous owner. Is there a scan of it here on PVB or instructions elsewhere I can follow?

The next one has been posted too. :3
