It’s been a little while, but I’ve been working on compiling all my icons (including some new ones) to release on the HyperFlash page – across the four categories below. Currently there are 308 icons for you all to enjoy (a handful of which were created by Fwow13 or Mumphy), they can all be found under the downloads section of the HyperFlash 32 page, and the sets are as follows (forgive me for paraphrasing the page names a bit):
Homebrew icons:
A small set of 9 icons for homebew games by me. Definitely a lot of room to grow in the future… but I won’t commit to anything.
Fwow adapted icons:
A set of 18 icons adapted and tweaked from Fwow’s long icons by me, along with some of his “rejects”, and one icon from Mumphy. I wanted to include at least one image of a new icon, so I attached of the “rejects” that I ended up tweaking a bit. I think it turned out pretty nicely.
Miscellaneous icons:
A set of 55 assorted icons created by Fwow13, Mumphy, and myself
Licenced title icons:
A rather hefty set of 226 icons spanning every official game – from Jack bros. to Bound High!, and so on. All were created by me.
It’s been quite a bit of work to getting them here, but the bulk of it should be behind me now. Going forward I’ll probably notify of any updates and additions to the various folders on the PVB discord – however frequently/infrequently that ends up being. Have fun :). TRM.

Hey! Thanks for this Ben, looks like I wasn’t *too* far off with some of my guesses, but it’s nice to know exactly what I’m looking at :). I’ve updated the icon a bit (see below), and I think it now more accurately portrays “Meteor Masa”.
Interestingly, some of the pages on wikipedia neglect to even mention Jack Bros…. this goes for not just the page on Meteor Masa, but also on some of the demon’s pages, like Itzanama’s (though a couple do recognise it, such as the pages for Slime and Elf, for example) – seems some updates may be in order :P.
Anyway thanks again, I’ll get back to my icons and provide some more updates for that over on my separate forum post later >:D

For the US label I may have borrowed, and adapted, the background part from Virtuous Rage’s labels from the original contest 😅. Anyway it’s my first label in that style but I’m pretty happy with it. I did all four of these today so I may or may not need to change a couple things; but I think they’re all relatively clean as they are, and I wanted to get them out sooner rather than later.
Anyway, I’m going to sleep 😛
Oh yeah, and here are my templates in case anybody wants to use them, even with the remaining time being… not that long.
I had meant to post them earlier but at the same time I’d wanted to do so after I got my revamps done but before I started on new labels, and the revamps ended up taking much longer than I expected, because I wanted them to be good. And I think remastering them might actually rival how much time I spent making them for the original contest (or at least that’s how it felt); and as I said in my previous post, I haven’t quite gotten to making new ones just yet.
Anyway I hope this is helpful in some way to somebody :p
Great job guys! I haven’t made any new labels (and I’m kind of kicking myself over it a bit with not much time left to go), but what I have done is update and recolour a vast majority of my old labels. And I do mean update. Like any good port I didn’t simply adapt them for the new platform. Instead I’ve gone through a couple times and made a number of changes to make them cleaner, and also fit to the new colour scheme better (including a lot more dithering than what was originally present in the original versions, among other changes). There were probably only about four that didn’t make the cut because they just lost too much detail, but hopefully the ones that did make it will speak for themselves. If you’d like to compare to my original ones you can find those here:
As I alluded to earlier, I’d like to do a few new ones, but this took me longer than I originally planned due to constantly increasing scope, so I might try to do a couple, even if the end of the contest comes before I can finish them (but we’ll see).
Oh, and don’t feel obliged to get them all up on the display Mellott, that time could be better spent working on even more projects 😉. Just pick out however many catch your eye. Hope you all like them and good luck to you all! 🙂
(edit: fixed a few small things with a couple of the labels, and changed the collage a bit to exclude a few variations that in my opinion just made the whole thing a bit messier. Those variation labels are still in the attached folder, as are the other variations that weren’t cut, of course)
