Can’t wait for this release! I’ve been on and off since the 2nd batch debating whether or not to get one. This time I will finally purchase it. I’ve allocated the funds, at last 😀

^Actually taking it off the stand sounds like a good idea.
We’re thinking of re-shooting a video of this type, at an undecided location as of yet. So we may just go with it stand less.
🙂

It looks very promising! I really like the idea, and it’s rather fun as well.
😀

WOOOO!!!! I love this game!!

It inspired me to want to purchase a Flashboy 🙂

I will definitely buy one if another batch can be made 🙂

Well, HorvatM, how would you hold the controller if both of your hands are busy holding the console? Unless you are a mutant and have extra hands, this would be QUITE impossible!!!

Very interesting, I once read about it being a bit offensive, but it seemed the norm as I would always see it along with ISO’s. From what I gather it’s in due to WWII.

Here’s a bit of history as to why for those compelled:

edit:
Oh, and that’s good to know about the JPN VB as well, I was about to look into investing in one of them; now I won’t rush.

Thanks! That confirms I have the USA VB.
And I’ve heard the JAP VB is harder to find, is that true? Or is it just like a “white saturn” and common in Japan but hard to find elsewhere?

Hilarious! Good job 😀

Well, it seems like you have the “ribbon cable problem.” This thread can help you with that if it’s indeed the same thing:

I had a similar problem with my first VB, so I had to return it to the gameshop I bought it from, and then it took me almost 11 months to settle down and just buy one off of ebay. Wish I would have known of that thread last year :/

Hope that’s it!

Phew, well that last message was quite calming to me. 😀
From a newbie to the Virtual Boy “scene”, I really just want the chance to play all of the games without spending mass amounts of money. I definitely plan on preordering one of those awesome flash carts soon.
Personally, I feel like a completest, in the sense that I would like to play every game released for my favorite systems. I did it for the NTSC-U Saturn games, and the majority of the US Dreamcast games, when I was in those phases. Now I’m in the Virtual Boy phase 😛

Well, I tried about everything with it, but I believe that the head unit itself was damaged due to bouncing around a lot during shipping. I ended up just sending it back and I am glad to say I now have now been sent a working V-Boy!! 😀

I think they should be released for many reasons. One that stands out for me is that the average gamer will only have a slim chance at experiencing what they are like. (I’m assuming these are the 4 undumped games you are referring to..)
SD Gundam Dimension War looks amazing! Unfortunately, I have never even seen it for sale. I would definitely enjoy playing it, and would still purchase it if ever given the chance.
Space Invaders Virtual Collection is like a dream. Space Invaders is fun enough, but to put it on the V-boy…simply put, as long as I can play the game, that’s all I need to suffice until I find a good deal on it 😉
Virtual Bowling..this is one of the games my friends are always talking about wanting to play. Unfortunately we will probably never be given that chance to, considering how IMPOSSIBLE it is to find! I would enjoy it very much. 🙂
Virtual Lab: I’ve read many articles on this one thanks to this amazing fan made site, and I would honestly love to experience it, even though it’s an “unfinished” game.

So overall, I think you should go ahead and release your dumps, because collectors will still purchase the games, and everyone, like me, that just really wants to experience them would get a chance of a lifetime! And I would definitely play these with more friends too, maybe getting them to get attached to the V-Boy and purchase one of there own, which might even persuade them to make their own games for it.

Unfortunately, it didn’t not come with a battery pack, only an AC tap with an AC adapter. Originally I thought the problem could have just been a damaged AC adapter, but upon trying my SNES one, it still did not do anything. There were no sounds or anything, it as if the power was not reaching it at all.
What’s odd though, is that he did have a picture of it working, so it did work before he shipped it out, I just don’t understand what could have been damaged through shipping. I’m assuming it was from the VB moving around inside the box, even though it was encased in bubble wrap. Maybe something came loose? Idk.

My birthday is also September 10th, but of 1990. Pretty awesome to share the same b-day as the V-boy creator!
