Welcome to the club.

RAD:
At least some German magazines reported about the VB… Here in Slovenia, probably the only people who know what a VB is (they claim to have one) are some folks writing for a particular video game magazine.

Maybe… I still need to get hold of a proper tool to open it. And on my VB the left speaker sometimes doesn’t work.

Well, it says that “pictures will be provided on request”.

It’s… perfect.

Welcome!
I hope you’ll become a VB developer… 🙂

What equipment did you use to transfer them?

I’m afraid his number is useless unless he can make it out without a doubt.

Hint:
The last two digits before the “[3]” can be one of the following: (according to this thread)

03
16
29
32
45
58
74
87

There might be some others though.

I didn’t check all 100 variations

You don’t need to. If you look closely, you can see that by changing the last two digits, the control digit will be 3 once in every 13, with some exceptions.

Well, my Japanese Galactic Pinball box (which wasn’t sealed) has a sticker on it that says “Sofmap” (an electronics retailer with an excessively kitschy website), line break, and “¥2900”. Kind of interesting actually – they originally sold it for almost half less the MSRP, so it’s probably from 1996 or late 1995.

Maybe it’s another idiot looking for Visual Boy Advance stuff.

I don’t understand German either but I like the music. “Traumblume”, “Glück in Einsamkeit”, and “Romantisch?” are my favorites. The only flaw is that the songs are too similar to each other.

What instrument did you play?

One word:
Sweet!

Hey, that’s a pretty nice game! Good work. Will you add more levels, possibly larger ones with more enemies?

On a side note, is there a way to print text to only one screen? That way you could make 3D-looking sprites with text characters. (I’m asking because I want to make something text-based, with 3D effects)

The URL you posted appears to be invalid, at least to me.

Same here as well.

No, but when you get to the adjustment screen (the one that says “VIRTUAL BOY” in big letters) in any game close one of your eyes and two of the squares in the corners of the screen will disappear.
When you get to the title screen, press left-B-down-A-up on the right D-pad and you will get to the alignment screen – close one of your eyes again and you’ll see.

If you mash all the buttons, most (all?) VB games reset (I remember original Gameboy having that too).

Virtual League Baseball doesn’t. Of course, that game also displays the adjustments screen when you press Start.

Galactic Pinball JP: 23
Mario’s Tennis US: 19
Virtual League Baseball US: 22
Red Alarm US: 09

You just HAD to find the ugliest shot of the VB around, didn’t you? 🙂

I see artistic value in the photograph you posted. It’s actually beautiful.

Interesting, but how is this first person? I expected it would be like seeing the playfield from the falling block.
