either try to build a dumper or ask someone with the needed equipment to dump the cart(s) for you. dogp for example has all that’s needed, even a guide on his site if someone wants to attemp building a dumper on his own. ^_^
definitely, nobody will ever have to pay for anything on this site, KJ4860.
one thing is for sure, if those roms get posted here or anywhere else, even if they’re hidden or if you have to pay for it, they’ll eventually leak. the question is if it’d be a bad thing, and hurt the value of originals. i don’t know. but if someone wants to dump his and release the files, i’d be glad to host them here.
another option would be to just share them privately with a few trusted individuals. if you really don’t want to see them on the internet.
in the end, the person who dumps his carts, or lets his carts get dumped, decides.
na jedenfalls viel erfolg! erwartest du viele besucher? also potentielle zukünftige vb fans? 😀
nope. you can’t just add stuff to existing game, except you break into the nintendo hq and steal the source code and the tools to compile it. 😛
you have the wrong idea of that “vb dev tool”, the vbjaengine is basically a library of useful functions which ease development for the virtual boy.
definitely. maybe we’ll see one one day. with the flashboy and vbjaengine being developed at the moment, there will be powerful tools soon, which will hopefully revive and boost the vb homebrew scene. with the flashboy finally everybody will be able to execute code on the vb very easily and quickly, and jorge’s engine will be very helpful to develop complex games. it is aan excellent piece of software i must say! can’t wait until it gets released at the end of the year.
hardware looks standard. seems they just took a normal retail vb system, mounted it to a table, and voila they had a store display vb. 😀
hm, but the ads…
ooh, you were talking about a vb store display? well, then 61 dollars sound like a great deal! pictures would definitely be nice, i would like to see the box and everything. 🙂
uh yeah, cool news. 😀
there’s definitely interest in translation patches. i think there was a thread about a space squash translation here before.
an insmouse patch would be nice too and especially one for virtual fishing would make the game much more playable. but i don’t remember ever seeing any japanese text in v-tetris.
