Really, Protoman85? After all those reviews, no love for the Virtual Boy? 🙁

Videos are on track and I can report that the Wario Land review will be around 6 minutes and the homebrew one will be around 15 minutes(!).
I am back with another Virtual Boy review, this time 3 in one. Please watch and comment if you like 🙂
Ah yes, I see Wario has eyes now, hahaha =)
Now it looks like he peed his pants..
Version 2:
With a setting on the fill tool I got it to fill all colors with another color so to speak, thats why the background is all brown, which I will change later on.
Oh damn.. I totally missed playing this game for the homebrew showcase =S I have to add it. I have to play it on my own VB now though since i returned the good one…
Feel free to watch my Virtual Boy reviews, it might help you decide which games to get for it.

I really like Super Mario 3D Land. The mix between 3D and 2D Mario games work really well, and I think I like it more than Super Mario 64, definately more than Sunshine (I dislike Mario Sunshine).
I will also be buying New Super Mario Bros 2. The “New Super Mario Bros” graphic style is getting old now, but a new 2D Mario title is always great, can’t pass that up.
My dream game for 3DS: A colorized remake of Virtual Boy Wario Land!
Never mind, it appeared that I had the wrong version, what I thought was 2011 was an old version of 2010.
P.S: I’m impressed

With the last version, there was plenty of graphical glitches.1.2 fixes only some parallax bugs. I’m aware that turning the VB off and on again too soon can cause glitches, and the title screen can appear scrambled. But other than that, I don’t know what you mean, as I myself used a FlashBoy Plus for testing. I’ve just played through the whole game and it seemed fine.
I’ll trust you and won’t complain if there’s glitchy graphics when I play then. When I tried it yesterday however most the ships started breaking up into glitches as soon as I fired anything… Super Bounce does the same, glitches out when the screen scrolls…
I’ll grab this version for reviewing right away. With the last version, there was plenty of graphical glitches. Is that due to being played on Flashboy or is it just a flaw? And is it fixed?
Good news, I’ve borrowed a friends Virtual Boy, which was ironically my Virtual Boy before I sold it to him. It works fine, so I will record all the games I have left, then work on the remaining reviews. Order:
1. The worst, Virtual Fishing, Waterworld and Virtual Lab
2. The best, Wario Land
3. The Homebrew games
4. Summary and ranking of all VB games.

On a pointless note… my Wii is red hahaha.
My Wii is also red. That’s probably why I can’t get it softmodded. Everything I tried failed. I think the red one has a version of the OS that is unmoddable… which is a damn shame =(
Awesome wife you got 🙂
And cool update, I’ll be sure to try it out. Very nice to see we have another VB dev that continues his work beyond the first couple releases 😉
Most likely not. I asked before if it was possible to emulate/play NES/GB games on it, just to play them in Red ‘n’ Black really, and one of the foremost programmers here said no. So don’t bet on it.
I actually like the music in Deadly Towers…
And Kirby’s Epic Yarn is not easy if you try to 100% it.
That’s cool! Can you put in monsters too?
