He thought you were the other person in the link
Anyways if you are seriouse and want to make a vb game without getting paid then just check out the homebrew section (games–>homebrew) and there are some games you can finish if the creators feel like giving you the source code

Or you can start over and make some nice games
Some ideas: pacman, shmup game, 1st person shooter, puzzle game….

ps, competition ends within a month so hurry and make something 🙂

For me its as hard to make a game with or without some engins
Unless you use visual basic or something easy then very few people will make vb games

Take the last competition, the winners all made games because no one really cares for engins unless its made for some 5 year old so we noobs can make games easy 😛

An engin might make 10 people happy, a game maybe 50+

Virtualpong looks good thought 🙂

engin? and I was expecting FULL GAMES for the competition, oh well lets see what more people come up with

Do I hate religion? yes i do but back to the topic
I wanted to make a vb game but it was to hard haha, heck I dont even know how to change a sprite or game to red/black

whats with the lame religion quotes?

Lets just hope its 4 games even if they are small and not some half finished demos that will never be finished like what happened with most games made in 2008 for the competition

Anyways good luck and let the best man win
Have not seen any women so far make a vb game 😛

To bad, in my opinion its not worth buying a new flashboy when you cant save your saves but oh well
Not that any homebrew need save and the vb save games can all be bought together for under 90 euro

Just hope most homebrew games will stick with passwords if save is really needed

Atleast its good for people who dont have a flashboy and dont want to buy the games with save features after they already bought a flashboy but for us who bought the vb games with save feature before the original flashboy was released will just stay with the old flashboy

you should really only play the Virtual Boy for 15 minutes at a time and then give your eyes a rest

I always hear people who talk about the vb say 10 min or 15 min but if they actually played the vb they would know its only 20 min

The rest of the pack – including Teleroboxer, 3D Tetris, Red Alarm, and Waterworld – gave no lift to the flagging Virtual Boy.

What are they smoking?, mMario clash was ok but to say it was better then red alarm that acyually showeed the true power of the VB is just being stupid

When Nintendo pulled back the curtain on its newest handheld rig, the 3DS, at E3 2010, the comparisons to the Virtual Boy were inevitable

Many people say this but I really dont get why since the vb is still the only machine that you really feel your in the game unlike 3DS
Yes only the player who plays the 3DS might feel the 3D but not like you put ur face in the 3DS and play in the dark

even though we pour one out for the Virtual Boy today, we also celebrate the pioneering spirit behind it

Well in my opinion the vb could have made it if Nintendo made more popular games like Zelda/Link, Bomberman (not puzzle Bomberman), Mario (side scrolling), James Bond, Mario kart…

Its like nintendo makes 10 games and if it doesnt sell good it just gives up instead of giving it a 100% chance

still have not seen a new video so I guess my video is still the only coding competition promo video 😀

I think you should not write the other passwords for level 7+ here but instead do so every level you win in the game you get 1 password

“How does one become a PVB staff member?”
No idea

“Do Virtual Girls exist but hide like boy ladybugs”
haha I have seen some girls here on the site 😛 thought no one yet who has made any of the homebrew games
One day maybe a girls make a vb game just like flower on the ps3

“is the VB Red/Black or Black/Red?”
doesnt matter, call it what u want
Just happy you love the vb 🙂

“with all those on PVB who have two or more VBs as backup or collecting such as getting a Japanese model if they have a US model, should I get another VB?”
if a collector then yes, otherwise no

“which VB game is your favorite?”
I like many vb games but its sad the best games are unfinished homebrew

“what do you nickname your consoles/handhelds?”
nope, no nicknames here^^

“does KR155E’s fabled “VB tower” exist?”
Ofcourse 🙂

“what will you do on Gunpei Yokoi’s Birthday? (September 10th)”
Play the vb and be happy 😛

“does anyone have any spare VB carts?”
lol

“have you ever mentioned the Virtual Boy in public?”
ofcourse, my friends know I have it thought they know very little about gaming

“do you have other consoles/handhelds that are Red/Black?”
Nope, not red atleast

“what would you do if you were a VB for a day?”
A walking vb? hmmmm show more people my awsome games

“if a virtual boy(non-real human) was playing a Virtual Boy (console) would he be a Virtual Virtual Boy Boy?”
weird question but by non-real human do you mean alien or robot
boy=1 sex of 2 (other being girl)=human so no maybe virtual alien or virtual robot LOL

Thanks, as you noticed I did include most hombrew exept a few that didnt work or is 2 player only 🙂

so this is 100% finished?

Just played this on reality boy and its weird but fun first time atleast
I move up and fire and the missile goes up, the octopuse touches me but atill i can drag him

well i heared the creators of the yeti3D demo and castle of doom was working on something so expect 1 game each from them otherwise I dont know what people are doing

Yeah same here
I think I got mine around 25 august 2008 and yes it was expensive but I knew I wanted one to play many games since for example golf dosnt work on emulator
Also homebrew on the vb is sweet

The ironic part is that I actually never thought back in the day that I should get the flashboy because it would be rare
I had always thought that only 200 flashboys at most would be made because the demand would be low

Sometimes I am amazed that so many people actually want a flashboy because I thought most people play vb games on emulator and then quickly get tired of it
Oh well, no one is perfect

I think its time to play some homebrew on my flashboy 😀

dont goa hating on my video just because his video looks more 3D^^
