Making H-seam shouldn’t be that hard if you’ve got the tools, one sheet sealed together as a circle, game put inside, sides sealed and then shrunk:

From what I understand from the overpriced but correctly H-seam equipped Virtual League Baseball cart linked to above. It has a melted seam of the plastic shaped like an H where the sides of the H are along the sides of the box. Check the seam on the VLB auction above and you’ll see what I mean.

The re-sealed Jack Bros has gotten a bid BTW, ends in about 50 minutes.

I think it was DogP that found a sample header in a rom-file and extracted full wav samples from it – I thought it could have been something like that.

Are they recordings or actual copying of the digital data from the rom file?

Isn’t it called “donor”, in Swedish it’s “donator” tough…

Upside: only one circuit per game – no need to split the games in odd and even bytes.

Downside: the 27C160 only exists as UV-eprom or OTP-eprom… 🙁 You could use TSOP and a TSOP socket ofcourse…

I don’t know, if it’s used a lot it would be convenient, shortest way there if you haven’t bookmarked it is to choose 3D Tetris from the GAMES/Released Games menu and then the click Highscores tab – unless you want to check the scores on a specific game.

You could add “High-Scores” last in the GAME-dropdown menu…

I’d go for the modified screwdriver rather than spending $10 on something that needs a whole lot more modification.

There are of course fixed screwdrivers with that kind of gamebit head, but I haven’t seen any lately.
